FINALLY....
Its coming up FAST!!!
I have to start thinking about packing...so far the only thing I have ready to go is everything for the FE!!!

I was hoping I'd be in the same boat (ha ha) regarding FE gifts, but I haven't finished the children's FE stuff yet- I've got everything, just need to assemble them. My excuse is that our daughter's Princess B'day Party is this afternoon (she's turning 5 on Tuesday) and getting stuff together for that took longer than I planned. Then we're having a Pirate B'day party at her school on Tuesday. Can you say pre-gaming for the cruise??!!

I finally got my FE made and have (almost) everything packed. I still need to find a small birthday gift for my boyfriend who will have his 35th birthday on the 21st. We are all so excited about this trip and we can't wait until we get ont he ship!

my daughter will be 25 on monday the 21st so hoping it will be fun for her to celebrate for her on the cruise she is in a wheel chair but hoping that won't' cause any problems

I have no excuse. I'm waaaayyy behind. I have purchased everything but still have labels to print and everything to assemble. I haven't even finished my FE itself yet. Haven't started packing. Have to keep everything I've purchased and the packing a surprise. We're not telling them until we leave for the airport. Picking them up a little early from school on Wednesday, telling them the surprise (neighbor will capture on video for us) and then we're off! We have a few days in the parks before the cruise. OMG, when am I going to get this all done?!!!

I FINALLY finished assembling the FE gifts, well, I still have labels to do and figure out how in the world I am going to pack them! I haven't started packing either. I knew I would run out of time. LOL. None of us may match, but we will all be there with a great big smile! Can't wait to meet you all!

No one PM'd me re: adding new names to our list so I think it's pretty final now. I will be resending the list because we had a request for last names so I figured that I should share the list including last names with all current fe participating members. I'm still waiting on 3 more but may send it out tonight without those 3. I did PM the 3 that wanted to join and encouraged them to start their own new group but I don't know if they can even receive or reply to a PM without 10 posts under their belt.

Me too! On a couple of the cruises we've been on, there have been movie premiers for movies that have had releases the same week that we've been on the ship. BUT all of our cruises in the past have been 7 nights or longer, so it always overlapped with the movie release date. So I don't know if we'll get to see the movie onboard or not. But, like you, I hope so!!!

If it's a Disney film, it will release on the ship before the release. This happened on our last cruise.

FE stands for Fish Extender but essentially it is a gift exchange organized by a bunch of us who starting "chatting" through this thread about the upcoming cruise that we're on together. We will hang pocket organizers (usually handcrafted or personalized) off of the "fish" that is outside each stateroom door. Then we go around the ship delivering goodies to one another. This is organized in advance so that we all have time to shop and assemble our gifts. We closed the list of participants on the 15th of October.

But I would really encourage you to participate on your next Disney cruise! I'm sure it will be a lot of fun!

Us too! So excited to be finished with them and now we can focus on packing. We started pulling out some clothes yesterday too. Since we're staying over at WDW for three nights, we're trying to pack "cruise bags" and "not-cruise bags" but we'll see how that actually pans out over the next few days.

LESS THAN ONE WEEK TO GO!! Woo hoo!!

It will be my family participating (Family of 4: DH, DD 13, DD 8) and one other family so far (Family of 4: DH, DD 11, DS 10)

Just got off the Dream on Sunday and it looks fantastic with all of the holiday trimmings. If I'm reading this correctly, nobody else joined our small group so I guess it is just us. We are a party of 5. 4 adults and a 14 year old. I will pm our staterooms to you tomorrow and will need to know yours. Please let me know if other families have expressed interest..Thanks and looking forward to this .

ive been lucky enough to sail 3 times on the Dream and each time gets better. The Christmas decorations were up and the ship is festive. All of my sailings have been with friends but my family will be sailing this time and cant wait !

I was wondering the same thing about the Muppets movie! I had also heard that they have early premieres on the ship when a new movie is about to be released. I say we have a good shot, folks! I hope it's not midnight though. I would love my kids to see it and they will not be able to stay up that late.

I've already contacted my Ebay seller, as it is likely just a shipping mix up, but I just got my FE in the mail today and it is the wrong one. Did anyone on here order an FE with names "Mimi, Tiffany, and Lauren"? I received this one and not my own. Rather than shipping back to the seller, if you have our 3 pocket FE with four names on it (PM me if you think you might) then we can just swap on the ship at our 3pm DIS meeting.

Fingers crossed this works out somehow since we leave to drive down to Cocoa Beach on Saturday!!
