I was just googling it. Wow, I'm really excited. Dvc since 2001. I think I even tried to get on Facebook page. (Sorry, if its your family thing) but I'm listed under "homemade cakes". Thanks for your help!! Elaine

I added Homemade Cakes last night. We are a busy group over there.

Besides our love for Disney and being DVC members, we have something else in common.... I make cakes too! Just for family and friends even though everyone tells me I should go into business.

I am pretty clueless about fish extenders but think it will be fun. Can you direct me to a good webpage/site for more info. Not sure how the list thing goes. Do we do little gifts for everyone on our list? & how often?

Oh, and it may have been updated but when I looked this afternoon our nut allergy was not listed on the FE list.

Oh, sorry! I didn't notice the nut allergy on the spreadsheet. I will fix that and it will show up on the next update.

As far as what to deliver. Most people just pick a day and time that's convenient for them to deliver. Your choice. Most people only deliver one time. You really don't want to spend your whole cruise dropping gifts off every day. Some people do one gift per cabin...Something that can be used or enjoyed by everyone. Like a Christmas ornament could be a gift for everyone in the room since everyone would enjoy it. Others like to do a joint gift for say a couple and then give each of the kids in the room a little something for them...age appropriate. Other's do a gift for everyone...adults, kids. I'm doing the one gift for the couple and then a gift for each child. You just do what you like and are comfortable with and can afford. It's supposed to be fun and just a way to add a little extra pixie dust to your cruise experience.

Do you have Excel? To download you need Excel. I think if you Preview and then download you might be able to get away with not having Excel. give it a try and let me know if it works.

Like our family has two cabins but is just one family with one FE. I wanted to make a special family gift but don't want to overmake by like possibly three or so cabins. The breakdown for List 3 is as follows:

17 Rooms
19 Women
14 Men
1 Boy aged 1-4
6 Girls and 8 boys aged 5-9
3 Girls and 3 boys aged 10-12
1 Teen Girl and 1 Teen Boy

Total people on FE List 3 is 56

OK, one more question... How do we know when two cabins are listed together or under the same DISname whether to make one family gift or two? Well, you can tell by looking at the ages listed. Specifically:

Jennabras is in two cabins on Deck 2. But if you look, it's just two adults (husband and wife/ Simon and Jennifer) and 3 kids. that's one family taking up two rooms

Mommyofthreeboys: Two families. Only only one of them had a DisBoard name so she signed her husband and herself up for one room and then used her own Disboard name for the other couple that are cruising for the first time on Disney with them. Both couples will be delivering gifts, even though there is only one DisBoard name being used.

Sometimes a family will cruise with grandparents, but the grandparent might not be on the computer but will want to participate in the FE. So daughter/son will sign them up to do it using their DisName. But, it's two families since they own separate homes and are both giving out FEs. Wouldn't be fair not to deliver to the second cabin since they are delivering their own gifts.

I'm not on list 3, but I have a connecting room with my daughter. My husband and I are in one room, my daughter and her husband and 2 kids are in the other room. We have two separate homes and we are each delivering our own gifts. We are "one family" but really, two separate families since she's married with kids of her own now. We each have our own Fish Extenders.

Does that make sense?

We have been planning the gifts we would give to others and have been having so much fun. Then a round of the sniffles passed through my home and I totally missed the sign up window . I am not the "leader" of this group, but my suggestion would be to prepare gifts for your daughter and secretly put them in the FE each night. We are very active on FB and enjoy the "closed" group aspect of it for privacy reasons. I know its hard when you book last minute, but we have 3 FE groups now that are all at the max previously agreed upon by all. Have fun sailing!!! We are having a meet and greet on the first day if you wish to join us there!!
