We are so excited to go on our first cruise!! We are a little nervous about how this whole cruise thing works, but I'm doing as much research as possible to make sure that we are ready when the time comes. It will be myself, 32, DH 44, DS 6 and 13 from Massachusetts. I'm hoping to get lots of tips from all of the expert cruisers!!

Welcome to the group alamere1496 this maybe your first cruise but I am certain you will have such a great time it won't be your last The FE is being organized by chtdesigns1 see post #58 page 4 you can send a pm if you have 10 posts otherwise you can post info on this board to be added to list. Usually about 5-6 weeks out the info for all participating is sent out via pm or posted so that you have time to put gifts together. Everyone gives what they want. We in the past have given out 1 gift per child per gender,1 gift pirate theme per child and 1 adult gift but this depends on how many rooms are participating. The organizer may assign you a day to deliver or just have you give on whatever day again this depends on size of group. You can either make a FE(see posts on main thread) or have one made on ebay(we used gradysmom she does an awesome job). Thanks for the information! I think this is a great idea, but I don't know my room number yet. I was told that we will be assigned a room when we check in. Can I still be involved?

Yes of course you can. If you booked GTY they will usually assign you a room about 3 to 4 weeks out but sometimes sooner so keep checking your reservation for updates. I will send some pixie dust your way for an upgrade

Hi! My husband and I will be going on this cruise as well. This wil be our third disney cruise a 4 day and 3 day cruise on the wonder and we are excited to be onthe Magic. We did a GTY 10 and we have already been asigned a room on the 2nd floor.

Noticed that as well but a few posts later chtdesigns1 say very busy but will put list together about 6 weeks out. I would not worry I am sure FE will still occur

I've done two other cruises, Princess and Norwegian. But with the kid, I think Disney is going to be more fun.
