Anyone want to share their pre cruise to-do lists or packing lists? I have been working on mine and just know it's not long enough... but can't place what I am missing.

30 days from today we will all be here - I will try to post a different picture daily - If you have sailed before please post your pictures too

Anyone want to share their pre cruise to-do lists or packing lists? I have been working on mine and just know it's not long enough... but can't place what I am missing.

Fill out DCL online paperwork
Gather all cruise documents/passports/excursion confirmations etc
Send notes to school stating why kids won't be there(Duh We're on a DISNEY CRUISE)
Stop mail
Make sure pets all taken care of(plenty of food)/boarded
Refill/have enough and extra of prescription meds
mail out package to DCL 2 weeks prior

packing list
hairdryer (one on ship not that great)
Chewing gum (they do not sell onboard and I like my gum!! Don't get me wrong I'm not like Violet from Willy Wonka Just like my gum)
water shoes (especially if you are doing water excursions)
over the door hanger
pop up hamper
softside rolling cooler
extra empty duffle bag or 2 or 3
pants and jacket for men if going to Palo(would need anyways for formal night if not renting a tux)
SUNSCREEN and lots of it
prescription meds/otc meds
camera
door magnets/FE
pirate night costumes
plug-in febreeze with night light (for bathroom-room very dark at night easier to find without turn on every light in cabin)
Lots of single dollar bills to tip room service

Thats all I can think of now other than the obvious

Wow thanks - that's a great list. I have no idea where I am going to find water shoes for DH and I this time of year... let the searching begin.

So today called to order our bottled water and we were told we were upgraded to a CAT 4, Deck 8!! YEY! SO, yes, updated our information on the spreadsheet!! We are now in 8558!!! I also received my FE in the mail last week from an amazing lady on Ebay!! LOVE IT! So rockin excited! Have picked up some FE gifts and working on some more!! Can't wait!! DH says I went overboard...lol...there's no such thing is there? He asked when I'm goinng to stop buying magnetic stuff for our door...AH...NEVER! LOL Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait!

Absolutely!! You are more than welcome to stop by. Too bad you weren't on our feb 2010 sailing we upgraded at port to the Roy suite and that was amazing! We had several stateroom tours that cruise.

Okay, 1st... jealous because your cruise is so close! We are going in January and I was wondering if anyone would be willing to get an extra set of Navigators and either fax, scan or mail them to me? It would be so much help in planning our upcoming cruise!

SOOOOOO....I had a little "situation" a few weeks ago. I took my camera out to take a picture and...NOTHING!! It didn't work at all. It is a Canon Rebel that I have had for about 5 years and I love it. If you ask my family, I take too many pictures. In my opinion, there is no such thing as too many pictures!!
ANYWAY, I went to look at new cameras and I did the worst thing possible and picked up the most expensive camera in the store and of course fell in love with it. However, I could not justify spending $1,400 right before we leave on our cruise. I didn't want to buy a cheaper version just to want to upgrade in a few months. I was getting really bummed out.
Well, yesterday, my husband came home with a few scratch tickets for me (we NEVER buy them, so it was weird). When I was done scratching them, I had won $1,225!!!
Not only do we never play them, I NEVER win anything!! So guess who was at the store today getting her new camera? Yup, the universe works in mysterious ways.
Just wanted to share!! Can't wait to meet everyone soon!!

Great story Ann... I have a similar one. In July my mom and I went to Vegas to celebrate her 50th birthday. She loves to play the slots and I am not crazy about them, but it was her birthday trip so we played. She wanted to play $20 each night and to make the $20 last we played the penny machines. The first night we played and won nothing... the second night we played and I won $300 - I immediately cashed out my winnings and put it aside. The next night I won $550 on the very same penny machine; I was amazed and once again cashed out my winnings and put them to the side. My mom was amazed watching me night after night win one of the jackpots on these crazy penny machines... by the end of the week, ‘I’ the girl who doesn't play the slots at all, was up just over $1600 in winnings on the silly penny machine. I put all my winnings to the side and brought them home with me. I have them set aside for our upcoming cruise and week at WDW… funny how things work out sometimes.
