Just saying "hi" to my fellow cruisers.

It's just going to be me and the hubby on our 3rd DCL cruise. We were married on the Magic in 2009 and can't wait to check out the Fantasy.

Let me know if you aren't able to go and I would 100% start the FE list going. We are getting rather close to not have at least started a list yet, so I will have no problem doing so! I actually still have the spreadsheet from the cruise I did so I could swap info into it pretty easy! But, hope your able to come!

Hello!
Two brand new cruisers here. We have talked about taking a cruise for years and have a wonderful reason to celebrate on the Fantasy. Our 40th wedding anniversary! We traveled to the Magic Kingdom for one day on our honeymoon in November of 1972 while WDW was still so new. We've visited WDW countless number of times over the years and now my husband is a cast member...his 'fun' retirement job. With Disney being part of our lives for so many years, it is without question that our first cruise would be with the mouse!

Is it too late to find out about joining the FE group?

Any information, ideas or tips for us newbies would be greatly appreciated!

We will be sailing on this cruise too! It will be our 5th cruise with Disney. This trip we have myself Sue (51) DH Wes (53) Youngest daughter Jenna (20) and her boyfriend Shawn(20).
We have been in love with Disney for many years. Our Oldest daughter (26) just got married last November at Disney's GF wedding pavillion with reception at the GF ballroom. She was a college intern in 2009 and met her husband who also was a intern. They made it full circle by getting married in Disney. We are DVC members and have loved every minute of it. Came in handy for the wedding when we were able to get rooms for both sides of the family at SSR treehouse villas. We will be celebrating our anniversary of 32 years ( July 12) and also my DD's birthday and my birthday while on board. We would like to get to know some of you and exchange FE gifts while on board. Any takers??

Just wanted to have to add our group to the roll call and also the FE list. This will be our first Disney Cruise and a special one for us. This was the wish my granddaughter was granted from Make-A-Wish
July marks 2 years since her kidney transplant (and I was the donor) and all is going well , she was 3 when she had the operation.
The list of attendees: Nonnie (me), Corrin(Mom), Mike(Dad), Shane (15), Hailie (5) and Kamden (3).

Can't wait - any advice on trip would be great.

We're anxiously awaiting an update on the FE for this cruise. I've got 5 rooms and at least 3 are solid for participating. Check back a page or so for the name of the person to PM to get on the list. We've got 3 months to go and I'm dying to hear where the counts stand so far particularly now when I have time to shop/craft and I don't feel a time crunch.

I just drove friends of mine to the Port on Saturday for their Cruise on the Fantasy. That ship is Beautiful...and Big!! I have never cruised before nor been to any port, so just driving them, dropping them off and knowing it will be my turn in November was enough to really get me excited and wanting to plan.

I haven't had any update about the FE either. Would love to know numbers so I can get started crafting.

Question: Has anyone sailed to Western Caribbean in the Fall before? What can we expect the weather to be like? Will it be cool at night? Thanks!

We did a Western Double Dip in the fall of 2009 and the weather was beautiful. There is always a chance that it may be cool at night though.

"PM" stands for "Private Message" and you can send one by clicking "User CP" in the blue menu bar just above, then click on "Send New Message" under "Private Messages" to your left. However I believe you have to have at least 10 posts in order to send a message.

By the way, welcome to our cruise. What a special occasion for you all!

Update on my side: I definitely made my mind up for all my port adventures:

- Grand Cayman: Dolphin Encounter & Turtle Farm
- Cozumel: Xcaret Eco Park
- Costa Maya: Nothing as our stay there will be short
- Castaway Cay: Will try my luck for a cabana

I can start booking all this on August 12, can't wait. Anyone else on the same excursions?

Sorry to all those inquiring about the FE! I have totally been MIA on this task due to some many things going on around me! We are in the process of moving into a sublet apt until we make our LONG move to the mouse house!!! That's right, at the end of Feb we will be moving to Orlando from cold cold wisconsin! Anywho, I've only gotten 3 PM's of people who are interested in doing the FE. I know there are more, but I suppose I will have to go through each page and write down names that way....This is what I had to do when we I organized our B2B cruise last Nov... So, once I do this, I will post the count I get, hang with me folks, I'll TRY and have that number by Sunday(8/6) when we did our cruise last Nov, we made a cut off date of Oct 15th. Does this sound fair to everyone? We leave for Disney on Nov 3, so I'm sure there are others who are leaving for vacation BEFORE the cruise and would like to have their gifts done in Oct.

Woohoo! Just booked all my shore excursions and I was able to snatch the last available cabana, #20 on Serenity Bay. I had #19 last year on the Dream and loved it, so I'm so glad I was able to get another one. I might change into one on the Family Beach should one become available, otherwise I'll keep #20.

I also got the two other excursions I was looking for: I'll head for the Doplhin Encounter & Turtle Farm on Grand Cayman at 11:15am and to Xcaret in Cozumel on 8:15am. Really looking forward and hope for some good weather.

Anyone else on the same excursions?
