I see many of us are planning on being at the terminal around opening time, so I'm sure we'll meet inside there too! Made our Lime Green Mickey Head on a Stick today, to carry around. Actually, my 6 year old son helped by painting the Paint Stick, GREEN! I cut out Mickey Heads out of lime green craft foam and glued them back to back at the top of the paint stick. "Looks pretty cool", so says my son! He just might be the one waving that thing around in the terminal, LOL. (he thinks it's his).

Sounds like he had a good time. Did you guys get a countdown going? My girls are craft queens. I made them fleece nosew blankets today and they were so excited. Of course we had to get them craft stuff to do while they waited for me to get done.

I'll be by the Mickey pool. My 6yr old can't swim yet, so the Goofy pool won't work for him. Though I'm sure my 12 year old will be spending most of the time at the Goofy Pool!

So I just ordered my oldest dd's costume for MNSSHP from ebay- a bellydancer. Not too revealing. Thing is I have a bad feeling about the seller. They are in China and the communication is not that good. I ordered it anyway because she wanted it so bad. I'm sure hoping I get it in time and that it's decent. I payed for express shipping and the guy said it's normally 7-9 days but that it can't be shippped till 10/5. I hope everything goes ok because I had a gut instinct not to buy it. When will I ever learn to listen to myself, whenever I go against my instict it ALWAYS ends bad. I just may be out $50. Couldn't find anyone in the US selling anything close so I took the risk.

Nassau we've been to a bunch of times, most recently in January, so I'm ok with not doing anything there. I do want to do something in Castaway Cay though.

WDW - we're staying at the Beach Club and planning on doing primarily Epcot and DHS. We might go over the MK for a little bit but this trip will be primarily for relaxation...at least I'm hoping that

Tell me what you've done recently to prepare for your trip everyone?

I bought more luggage. We normally drive so my luggage wasn't really airport friendly.
I bought my FE gifts for the 12 and under crowd. Have an idea for the older kids but need help from my sister. Still thinking about the adults.
That's all I've done lately my to do list is extremely long still.

We don't have anything planned for Nassau either. We may or may not head to a beach depending on how we are feeling. I think I'll leave it up to the kids they may want to hang on the boat. We'll get off for at least a little bit to look around though since we've never been.

Well we got room assignments today the anticipation is over We got 2 cat 11s not much of an upgrade since one had to be upgraded anyway because we have 4 in it. Who cares though we'll be cruising with the mouse. I'm glad my mom will be with us because they have our 2 cabins separated by an elevator lobby and 6 cabins so dh and I would have had to split up.

I've been doing laundry and more laundry, Starting to pack the suitcases since I have to pack away the summer stuff now anyway. Man, I'm freezing cold as I type this! It was COLD out today and DH doesn't want to turn the furnace on yet, ughhhh!
I picked up some extra shifts at my secondary place of employment, Don't know why as I have so much to do to get ready for the drive to Florida in slightly more than 3 weeks. But today I was glad I took them as the liftgate on the back of our van gave out today, as I was putting a wheel chair into the back of the van for my DD, who badly injured her back at work yesterday, and can't walk right now, and she will be out of school for 2 weeks for our holiday so keeping her home from school for a week now is just NOT a good thing, so now she has to travel in a wheel chair so she can BE AT school.................
My day has been like that above sentence. One thing after another, yada yada yada, and Oh, now I have to leave for my shift at work. Hopefully all the Grandma's and Grandpa's are ready for bed if not already sleeping! Make it an easier night for me than my day has been. Oh did I mention I have a sore back now after that lift gate fell on top of me?
I have to laugh, so I don't cry!
Tomorrow WILL BE A BETTER DAY!

Got our room assignment. We were upgraded from a 12 to a 10 on deck 1. Not too bad....I was hoping to not be on deck 1, but I'm not going to complain. I'm going to WDW and on a Disney Cruise in less than a month. WooooHooooo.

That's my thoughts too. Can't really complain when we have a nice vacation coming up. I'm kinda thinking I like my location from the deck plans. Besides we got more than we paid for so I'm happy.

I just got done cutting all my fabric and lining it for my 2 fish extenders. Now I'm praying I don't mess any of it up embroidering.

MJ, you are on the same deck as us! I LOVE Deck 1! Although I've never been on another deck, we loved our rooms last trip so booked the same ones this trip. (plus they were the only Connecting ones available in our Cat.) I find it very peaceful and quiet at night down there.

DisneyNewBee, what deck are you on?

Oh, and it's officially "Tomorrow" and things already look brighter.
DH isn't sure he wants to get the lift gate on the van fixed before our trip as it is likely going to cost more than we want to dish out just before the trip. But since we are driving down, I think it would be a MUST to fix the door from which we'll be getting our luggage in and out of. Unless we can TRUST whoever will have to hold it open till everyones out of the way. I'll drop it off at the mechanic this weekend. Need to find out first How much we are looking at before ultimately deciding.

OH, and hello SANDY6879! Welcome to the Cruise meet board. Did you book your land package as a land and sea or separately? We are aslo doing the parks. Found out this summer when free dining was extended that I could have gotten that if we had booked separately. But then again, maybe maybe we got a deal with the package. Thinking of doing it separately next time though, if there is a next time.

Now I just need to get to bed and get some sleep, it's almost 1 a.m.

Hello everyone! Just booked this cruise a week or so ago! It will be myself, DD - 15 1/2, DD - 11, and DD - 6 1/2. My niece and her family will also be going (her, DH, DS 4, and DS 1).

This will make my 6th Disney cruise and it will seem REALLY short as our last one was the 15 day Panama cruise. But we have been on a 3 day and a 4 day before. As long as we are on the ship! Can't wait to see Toy Story, but will sadly miss Hercules....

Is it too late to get in on the FEs?

I was surprised not to find this thread full of fellow NJians as it is Teacher Convention weekend, hence why we chose it. I am sure the ship will have plenty though.

We will be driving in on Saturday and are trying to figure out what we may do afterwards. I'm going to go back through the thread to see who has kids similar ages. Mine love to meet new friends!

Welcome Pyramid!!! We are a from NJ too. This is our 2nd Disney cruise, last year we were on the Magic for Teachers week.

Wow, the 15 day Panama must've been awesome!!

I'm sure you will find plenty to do on Saturday. They have Trick or Treating in Downtown Disney if you don't do the parks.
