Here is my next stupid question. While DH & I would very much like to renew our vows in WDW on our actual anniversary, I am a bit skeptical. It is Nov. 13, 2007. I don't drink and he drinks very little. I wish there was a way to avoid the crowds. I am considering planning around ther F&W crowds. So.....
does anyone know the exact dates of the F&W for 2007? Also, I know Jersey week usually is around that time too. I doubt there is much infor about that yet, but if there is I would love to be informed.
Also, if it were just DH and I it wouldn't be as big a deal, but we will have our 3 teens with us and our 4 year old(at time of travel).
Thanks to all for sharing opinions and especially knowledge.0

I doubt that the actual F&W dates for 2007 are out yet, but this year it ends on Nov 12 - the 2nd Sunday of November. It's probably around the same time next year. I think it is really only EPCOT that gets busy during the festival, as many of us (F&W regulars) hardly venture into the other parks, and lots of the F&W crowds are Florida folks.

Hope this helps a little, and I bet some NJ folks can give you some info about their dates.

Hi Deesknee, We were in WDW in Nov 05 during F&W and Jersey week and UK's holiday. It really was not that crowed. Sat night in EPCOT was super busy so we left and went back on a Mon and it was fine. It seems a lot of locals came out that night because of the concert. Good luck with your vows I would love to renew next year in Sept for our 15th.

This is kind of OT - but what is Jersy week? Do they have it every year in Nov?

Deesknee - Have you picked a place to renew your vows in WDW? I have looked at the website for it and there seems to be only 5 or 6 places to do it. I don't know if they let you pick places they dont' have listed though, maybe they do. Maybe you could pick a place that is farther away from Epcot just in case F&WF is still going? Or have it early in the day? Either way CONGRATS!

Jersey Week will be the week of the 5th, next year.

mikayla...Jersey Week is every year. It's not something Disney does. Every public school here is closed for two days, Thursday and Friday, of Jersey Week, for the NJEA convention in Atlantic City. Some schools also have other days off, so since kids don't miss much school, they take them out for a day or two and head to WDW.

Our district has school on Monday then off the rest of the week. Why they have school one day that week, I don't understand, but they have been doing this for the past few years.

By looking at the calendar I'd say Nov 12th on looks like a pretty good time to go. Jersey Week would be over and F & W Festival only effects Epcot. Go for it and have a wonderful time.

Jersey week is always the same week as election day.

You are all so wonderful!

I think we will do as suggested. Arrive around the 12th, renew the 13th,enjoy the remainder of the week, depart for home around the 19th.

We were in WDW during Jersey week in '05 as well. It wasn't as busy as I was afraid it would be, but if I can a crowd i try to. :teeth:

I concur: that third week in November - after Food & Wine and SuperSoap but before Thxgiving - should have minimal crowds. A walk in the park, as it were ;). I imagine they'll be finishing up Xmas decorations, rehabbing rooms and rides and other such low-season stuff during that time.
