Watch ESPN 2 and cheer on Fighting Irish (and watch out for #4! Thats my daughter!)

Wow, good luck to your DD! ND has a tough fight ahead of them; the UCONN women are amazing. DH is from CT and his family follows the women's team more closely than the men's. Hope the Fighting Irish pull it off though...that would be great :)

Lady Vol fan here---of course I will watch and cheer for the Irish. I am always for anyone but UConn (sorry CT fans, but a UConn fan came up and screamed at me in Disney once, and I was just walking around with my Lady Vols shirt on).

Very cool! Go #4!

I was on the Notre Dame campus on Saturday - our niece was getting married in the Basilica. It was a beautiful wedding!

UConn fan here I won't be cheering for the ND team but I will be happy to cheer for your daughter agame2323!

I live near UConn and very often when ND comes to Storrs they stop on the way at my church for mass. What a lovely group of young women. We have many Huskies fans at church and we always are glad to see the ND ladies stop by.

jackemail, so sorry to read you were treated poorly by a UConn fan. Most of us would never behave that way even to a Vol! I have to say back several years ago when we were still playing each other and I would be at the games Pat would get a great cheer from the UConn fans before the game because most of us understand the game and understand how important Pat is to the game of womens basketball.

Go Huskies....and #4 for ND!:cheer2:
Peace.

UConn fan here...I grew up in the huge UConn boom back in the 90's with Rebecca Lobo. Back in 1995 I would have given anythng to be her, my dream was to go to UConn and play basketball. I grew up and went to Clemson and never touched a basketball past junior high.
I am a huge Clemson fan as well...but my heart will always belong to UConn, men or women...even football.
I will be rooting for UConn, but what a great experience for your daughter at another great school and women's college basketball program! Win or lose it is so great that she is part of such a great thing for women's sports!!

I have a cousin who used to play for the UConn women's bball team. Saw them play and beat Georgetown a couple years back :teeth: .

agnes!

That's awful, I guess it takes all kinds, even the bad kind.

Wow. Its halftime and we are down 13. I have to admit, those UConn girls are tough. But lets see what happens in the 2nd half. I hope my little girl gets it going. Only 2pts:scared1:

Yeah UCONN-- what an awesom game!! agame2323--your dd played great!! We have followed UCONN since the 80's. My first game was behind the pressbench center court. can't get any better than that. DH use to work at UCONN-- he worked OT for every game. When we adopted ds11- he was 24 days old. He come home on a friday== DH said what about Sunday (we had tickets for the game)? I said we are still going. DS slept behind the UCONN band for the entire game. He attended all home games for the first 2 yrs. After ds9 was adopted at 18 days old - it got too hard for me to watch the game and keep an eye on ods-- (he liked to eat stuff off the floor:eek:). I prefered watching from home. dd6 has only been to a hand full of games. Our last game was the NCAA 1st round playoffs. It was a blast. DH retired from UCONN almost 7 yrs ago-- certainly miss the good seats!
