Anyone else get a Bear sighting notice on their site yesterday? Sambuster

by the way haven't seen any bears, on armadillo's, deer and squirrels.

This happens every once in a while at The Fort. Keep your food stuffs tightly covered tent campers. Also don't leave trash sit on your site.

The year I was eaten alive by yellow flies I also received that notice in my cabin.

Chances are (per a cast member), it's a false alarm. However, the real problem were the yellow flies and not a peep about them.

Yes, I made that comment on my after-stay survey :)

I'm not downplaying the danger a bear poses, but it's just not likely it actually was a bear.

sambuster, if you still have the flyer, is it possible for you to take a picture of it and upload it here? There is an "Upload a File" button here below the input box.

I've never seen the flyer but like others have heard about it and would love to see what it actually has on it.

It's the same notice on regular letterhead from FW that you would get when there is something different going on, such as closing roads for races, etc.

I'd be aware of the alligator we saw mid April in the canal behind the 300 loop. We told them in the office and they didn't seem to do anything about it. Took a pic and put it on here. Didn't look all that small either, even tho you could only really make out it's head. My husband lived in FL as a kid and wasn't all that concerned but there were a lot of kids playing near the canal, dogs, etc. and it was right in the canal near the side of the dog park. I thought it was pretty cool, but when we walked back there with our 2 dogs were keeping an eye out just the same.

I'm not sure what the big deal is with gators...
I mean, what is all the fuss?

They are always respectful of people, especially those in authority positions...

Each of them have their special place in life.

The little ones...

and the big ones...

But let's face it, they stay in the water mainly due to a natural instinct that they are inferior...
