When the announcement of the DVC AKV was made, the DVC boards started to become very cluttered with AKV threads, all of them basically saying the same thing.
For that reason it was determined to create a single 'official' AKV discussion thread. That thread has served it's purpose well and has had a lot of activity.
However, now that the buzz has settled somewhat, and since having a single thread makes it a little more difficult sometimes to change subjects, and after discussion by your DVC board moderators, the restriction to keep all AKV discussion to the 'official' thread is temporarily suspended, for a trial run basis.
New threads about AKV will no longer be merged into the 'official' thread, nor will they be locked.
Please help do your part and only start new threads if you cannot find an existing thread already in progress that covers your question or comment. Also, depending on the nature or your question/comment, be sure to use the correct DVC discussion board (Mouscellaneous, Operations, or Planning).
Users may still use the 'official thread' as desired.
If there are no major problems with a flood of AKV threads, basically duplicating each other, the AKV new thread postings restriction will be permanently removed.
