Just got off the phone with a CM who told me that he can't apply the code to my existing reservation-FW cabins. Not available!

He then searched for ANYTHING on those dates and said there is NOTHING available.

He wondered if this was a computer glitch.

Any ideas? Is it really sold out already?

Freaking out!

Not sure if that's the case or not. I know my poor CM was having to DIG for the codes for each of the different types of resorts. I asked her if the Cabins were Deluxe or Mods, and she said that Ft Wilderness is a deluxe, but the cabins bill at a mod. Do you know if he was trying to pull up the correct code?

WOW, this is our exact dates also but we haven't booked yet waiting for the deal... I know there is some availability because I checked rates. I wonder if it is just the deal that is sold out at that time???

I wondered that too. But then he tried it as a brand new ressie.

i am on hold right now to try someone else, hoping (stupidly) it was just his computer...

New CM couldn't pull it up either. But she put me on hold, checked with Guest Services and came back. They were using the wrong code!

Originally booked for 6 nights, Deluxe dining 7 day base ticket-5181.74.

Now 7 nights, regular dining 8 day base ticket 3971.28!

We were planning on changing from Deluxe anyway-too much time in TS with 4 kids. With both changes (dining plus code) we saved 1210! 700 on room alone!:cheer2:

It pays to be persistent!!!!:cool1::cool1:

It does pay to be persistant!!! I thought it might have been the code the CM's were using, just because my poor CM was having to change with each ressie I asked her about. It seemed to have depended on the # of days, the resort, the dining plan, etc. Glad it worked out for you, and that's a great savings. :)

I was just able to book also!!!!

Skip was GREAT and very helpful!!!

And apparently it matters if you are from Canada too. The first CM said something about Canada when he was looking for the code.

I was told it was a no go too by the first CM I spoke to. I put a hold on the ressie anyway, and after I hung up, I looked up the codes on mousesavers.com. I realized the CM was using the wrong code. Since we are staying 3/25 to 4/1, it is during seasonal dining price increases and there is a separate code for that.

I called back and second CM was able to apply the right code to our reservation. The savings are not as good as others because of the seasonal dining, but I was happy that it was able to be applied at all since our stay only covers three days of the booking window for the deal. It seems there is some wiggle room there as long as you are arriving before the booking window ends!

Price for two adults and two kids, at CBR with 7 day base tickets and basic dining plan, no trip insurance, is $3095.00, down from $3,430.26.
