Nothing available for Teppan Edo June 8th.

I tried this morning to make reservations for Teppan Edo on my DD's birthday. That is her favorited restaurant. The CM couldn't find anything for June 8th and she didn't know why. I was able to make a reservation for the 10th though. Does anyone know why there may not have been anything available for on the 8th? I'm pretty bummed. We really wanted to be able to celebrate her birthday there. I am going to keep trying to see if anything opens up.

I have been working on my ADR's for our trip next week since our 90 day mark. I had NO luck for weeks and weeks getting into Chef Mickeys for breakfast or lunch. 3 days ago a bunch of times opened up and I had my choice of dinner and breakfast on several days, all at *peak* times. I am not sure why some things open up suddenly, but they definately do. Good luck!

I think the online system also plays into reservations. When you are making them it puts a "hold" on the reservation while you are making it to give you time to put all the information in.

It could be others were making reservations at the exact same time you were looking for and that could be one reason why it wasn't available.

As others have mentioned, keep trying. People cancel all the time and something can definitely come up. Good luck!

If you're on the DDP it may not show up as available for you since it's not officially a participating restaurant. Ask the CM to remove the DDP designation and you may have better luck.

I did but since it was more than 180 days out it wouldn't let me do it. I think I will just take everyones advice and just keep trying. This kind of things just seem to happen every now and then it seems. Oh and I am not on the DDP so that wouldn't be a part of the problem. I appreciate everyone's advice. Now I just need to be patient!

1) With the new "tiered" prioritiues for ADR's there are factors other than DDP.
2) Keep trying for when your "tier" opens more seating.

I'm not sure if this helps you, or not, but this morning I was actually able to get a reservation for the same day at 6 pm. for a party of 6. I would say def. keep checking, or try a bunch of different times if your schedule is flexible.

Are you staying on property? If you put in your reservation number online, it will let you book out 180 + 10 days. Hope this helps, and good luck!

Not sure if this is what you meant....but you cannot book out 180 plus 10 days (190 days).
You can book AT 180 days and book UP to 10 days of your stay if you are staying on property.

Unless it changed recently....

Just tried online again and was able to get the reservations I wanted for on the 8th! Now I have a very happy DD!

Was able to get my ADR for Tue June 8th at 6:30pm. Maybe they slowly release tables in the 10 day grace period? Who knows?

Anyway, glad to see you got whhat you needed as well.
