Crowds today were about the thickest I've seen, post-reopening. Although it didn't feel especially busy and it wasn't hard to get around, wait times for nearly every attraction verged on the high end.

- We were the first guests in the park and would have been first on PP but a father ran (after being asked twice not to) and cut in front of us in the last few seconds. Then his group of eight joined him. This is always an annoyance but I reminded myself that getting upset about not being first on PP is a one-percenter problem at the bare minimum ;-).
- As per usual on a Sunday, crowds didn’t start to build in earnest until about 10:30. However, we spent too much time on Buzz – because neither of us could get the scores we wanted or when we did, they didn’t come through – so we didn’t get on Pirates or Haunted Mansion. By the time we got to that side of the park, wait times exceeded our line-tolerance level ;-).
- I scored approx. 2,070,000 on my fourth or fifth ride of Buzz but it didn’t come through (which always makes me crazy). But later I broke 2M twice and got the credit for them.
- I rode three attractions today that I haven’t done since the park reopened: the canoes, the Monorail and Soarin’.
- I always like to speak with fellow park-goers throughout the day and especially at the gates and at rope drop. Two women (not together) told me at the rope that their first attraction of the day would be the Storybook Land Canal Boats because, if they were first, they’d get to sign some book. Oddly, I’d never heard of this but two separate people told me about it. I love when I learn something new at the park.
- I returned to LA last night around 8:00 and was tired from my travels: six days in NYC and then ten in Chicago. I decided to leave the park a little early and was back on the road by 2:20. Despite leaving early, I still walked six miles.
