Notation on Ressie make a difference for upgrade?

NO big deal, but in this reservation I noticed on my ressie they have all of that written write on my reservation. I have never seen that before. Any chance this will be met with a possible upgrade or special picture or something in the room? Not that I am EXPECTING something, just wondering if this increases our chances any since it is written right on the reservation? Just curious! Thanks! I hope this is not a flamable question? I reiterate, I am not expecting anything, just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience!

Two years ago we went to POP for our 20th Wedding Anniversary & I'd mentioned that to the reservation host & when we arrived we received a really nice Anniversary Certificate from Mickey - that was really sweet - then we got stuck in the back of beyond for a room............. This year we're going back from #22, I mentioned it to reservation host, but nothing's noted on my WDW reservation slip. Guess we'll just have to see. Hope you have a great time celebrating!!

For those of you saying all you want is a birthday button or an anniversary button - just ask for it - you can get that at any guest services location and from most hotel concierges.

We've stayed at AKL for our honeymoon and every anniversary since and we've gotten a few little things.

Our 1st anniversary we got turn down service one night (we hadn't requested it) and they left us some chocolates including a heart shaped one with the AKL logo on it.

Last year we got the autographed Mickey picture and a certificate that said happy anniversary. That was from the CRO agent I made the reservation with (his name was on the envelope it came in). We had struck up a conversation because he recognized my email address being from a college that his friend went to.

This year we were upgraded from a standard view to savannah view. But I'm not sure if it was because of the notation.

One other year the person that checked us in made sure we got a really awesome savannah view (no upgrade, we had already booked that view). Her hometown was the town we were living in at the time, so I think that had more to do with it than the anniversary.

It was noted on our last trip (last Sept/Oct) that it was our 12th anniversary AND my DD"s 4th birthday while we were there on our reservations.

As usual along w/ every trip-nothing. Nada. Zilch. I went down not expecting anything, so it didn't bother me

Though a "Happy Anniversary" or a "Happy Birthday" would have been nice too

We'll be down for my other DD's 7th bday this year......

When we booked our trip we mentioned it was our dd 8 year old birthday on the day we arrive. When we got all of our ressies info that was printed on it. I will be interested in hearing if that means anything or not also!!

Last March, we went to Pop for a mother-daughter trip. We were also celbrating my b-day on the arrival day. I had made requests for a certain section and buildng but since we were arriving a little late that day, didn't hope for much.

At check-in, the CM commented on seeing that I was celebrating my B-day and gave me a b-day button. To our great joy, we also got everything we requested...and DH (at home) had even sent me this beautiful flower arrangement from the Disney florists...It was waiting in our room upon arrival.

A day later, DD came down with a bad case of the stomach flu and I went down to the lobby to request more towels and linens as well as getting myself a cup of coffee. Well, a couple of minutes later, the linens arrived followed by a birthday card and a couple of balloons from Mickey. Needless to say it made my day!

When we return to ASmu later this summer, we will be celebrating my DH 40th b-day and our 18th anniversary, I will ask for the buttons but not expect more than that. If it happens...great. If not, we'll spread our own pixie dust
