I'm DONE deciding (okay, obsessing) over where we'll eat in January. Our ADR day was finally this past Tuesday. We (which is really I) decided on:

Chefs de France - (lunch) never been
Prime Time - (lunch) been 10 years since our last visit
Plaza - (dinner) never been
Kouzzina - (breakfast) never been, mainly chosen only because we're staying at the BWV.
Ohana - (dinner)
Wolfgang Puck Express - (multiple cs dinners) never been

So what are the best things you've had at these places? Well, with the exception of Ohana, of course.

A touch of background - first trip in 10 years WITHOUT the kids, thanks Grandma and Grandpa! DH's brother and wife are joining us and haven't been to the world since they were in their teens.

Ohana-everything is good. Try it all!
50s Primetime: I'm not sure if it's just on the dinner menu, but if you can get it on the lunch menu for sure get Mama's Sampler Platter! You get the fried chicken, pot roast AND the meatloaf, plus mashed potatoes.

The others I don't have any opinions/recommendations on.

:goodvibes

Just LOVE the butternut squash soup at Wolfgan.......yummy:)

Chefs de France - (lunch) never been I had the most amazing solo lunch here...sat right by the windows and saw Remy! I had the french onion soup, the quiche and it came with a side salad and the profiteroles
Prime Time - (lunch) been 10 years since our last visit Love this place! Just ate here in May and the fried chicken and meatloaf were excellent, the lettuce wedge was a half head of lettuce! Boston Cream Pie parfait was delish
Plaza - (dinner) never been Great place to sit and cool off, the best fries in all of WDW! Had a great reuben and cheesesteak here
Ohana - (dinner) Not a big fan, liked the broccoli and noodles but the best thing was the dessert, I think it is the best dessert in all of WDW
Wolfgang Puck Express - (multiple cs dinners) never been Great choice, so much better than EoS! You cannot go wrong with any of the sandwiches, they are all excellent and huge

Chefs de France - Nothing, I think the place is awful. Food was like a frozen dinner from a box.

Prime Time - Fried Chicken! Any of milkshakes.

Kouzzina - wasn't impressed by anything there

Wolfgang Puck Express - any of the pizzas, Chinois Chicken Salad, Ceasar Salad (sound boring, but it's seriously one of the top 3 ceasar's I've ever eaten).

Chefs de France - bacon/onion flatbread, onion soup, tomato/goat cheese flatbread, and Assiette Campagnarde. I'm not a big fan of their entrees but usually order the short ribs with pasta if I'm on the DDP and must order an entree. I love their chocolate cake or rhubarb crumble if it's on the menu (I've had their chicken, salmon, ham & cheese S/W, and hamburger but was not impressed. If paying OOP, I usually order a couple of appetizers and a dessert for my meal.)

Prime Time - the very best thing here is their peanut butter/jelly shakes:cloud9:. I go there just for them. Surprisingly last Dec I also got a very good seafood salad there. Their Mom's sampler with chicken, roast, and meatloaf is probably their most popular dish. I haven't been impressed with any of their desserts.

Plaza -not a big fan but do occasionally like their veggie S/W (I'm not a vegetarian, but this was really good, as is the veggie S/W at WGP Express). Love their chocolate milk shakes.

Kouzzina - Stack breakfast with poached eggs, kalamata olive toast, artichoke spread, and sweet potato hash:cloud9: with a smoothie.

Ohana -not a big fan, but love their bread pudding dessert

Wolfgang Puck Express -Chinois chicken salad, Beet, spinach, goat cheese salad, Mediterranean veggie melt, bacon wrapped meatloaf, and cream brulee

Chefs de France - I love their french onion soup and creme brulee. I sometimes get the price fix lunch with the onion soup, toasted ham & cheese and creme brulee. The 1/2 chicken and potatoes is also a favorite of mine.

Prime Time - I love their meatloaf and the Boston cream pie parfait.

Plaza - Cheesesteak sandwich for me here. Love it!

Kouzzina - sorry have never been

Ohana - Yum, love it all.

Wolfgang Puck Express - I have never had a bad meal here. The chicken alfredo pennette is so good. The pizzas are excellent. One time I got crazy and ordered chicken fingers and fries and even they were delicious. I don't think you can go wrong here.

Plaza - cheesesteak sand. and the potato soup. I thought it was too cold for ice cream in december so I had tea and cheesecake for dessert.

Prime Time--The shakes here are really good! I had the meatloaf and it was really good. My DH enjoyed the fried chicken. As for desserts, we liked the s'mores.

Wolfgang Puck's--The BBQ Chicken pizza is good, but my favorite is the mac and cheese. It is great!

My husband and I couldn't stop talking about Primetime after our last trip. He had the meatloaf, and I had the pot roast. Both were absolutely delicious!

Les Chefs de France - my favorite dish is the steak au poivre, but the prix fixe lunch is such a great value with lots of nice choices (sadly, steak not amongst them). My favorite lunch combo is the onion soup, the macaroni grantinee and the profiteroles. The croque monsieur and the chololate cake were also wonderful and included as choices in the prix fixe.

Wolfgang Puck - love everything there, BEST QS place anywhere! I especially love the pizzas and salads, and their creme brulee is wonderful!

'Ohana - if something comes not to your liking (too well done, too much dressing on salad, etc), just tell your server and get it how you like it. We have always been quite lucky with good service there and we love the food!

When we had lunch at Chef's, I liked my croque monsieur. My partner did not like the crepe he ordered. Had I more of an appetite, I might have gone for one of their prix fixe lunches.

Kouzzina makes our favorite breakfast on property. We both like their stacked breakfast with turkey sausage. I also like the breakfast flatbread, the French toast and the spinach and tomato scrambled eggs. I suspect that the blueberry orange granola pancakes are very good too. Order a Bloody Mary; they make them very well there.

Chefs de France - (lunch) the bread that comes with the meal is delicious! My entree (salmon) was good, but not great.

Ohana - (dinner) I could make a meal off of the potstickers/dumplings and the bread pudding.

Wolfgang Puck Express - The meatball pizza is HUGE and very, very tasty. It could easily be shared between 2 people, maybe 3.

In regard to the Plaza, that's the choice I'm struggling with! And the Prime Time pie...totally making DH get that so I can have bite(s);)

Thanks for the 'Ohana tip - would have never thought of that!!

Wanted to reply to everyone, but can't figure out how to reply to quotes in one reply?? I'll get there someday...

Anyway, thanks for the tips! I'm very curious about this PBJ milkshake...may be something I'll have to make the DH order since he's the PB lover.

Made an ADR for Tusker House breakfast this morning. Simply can't go a third trip without a Mickey waffle! And want to try that juice everyone is talking about...
