Not Using Genie at DHS?

We're planning on heading to DHS on Feb 23rd (Wednesday after P-day) and, being that the planner that I am, trying to see if it would be doable to forgo Genie+ and do everything standby. I thought I'd post my *hypothetical* plan just for interests sake, but I can see us having to buy it, as crowds will be bad :(((

Plan with all standby:
Early Entry
- Rise
-MMRR
-ToT
-TSMM
brunch at Woody's
shows:
- MuppetVision
- Beauty & the Beast
- Indy
explore SWL
early dinner at Docking Bay
- Aliens
- RnRc (Single rider?)
- Smugglers Run (single rider?)
- Slinky

Anyways, thoughts? this doable? I assume not but thought I would ask for input. Don't mind missing indy, RnRc and aliens to be honest but the rest are basically musts, especially SWL

Personally, I think if you're going to spend the whole day in DHS, it's absolutely do-able. You will need to make sure you're there super early (At least an hour to 90 minutes) before Early Entry and try to get to the front of the pack for RotR. That would be the only real wild card in my opinion. We regularly only do DHS for half a day and can manage to accomplish most things by around 2pm. We tried out Genie+ last week at DHS and didn't find it all that useful unless we were going to be there for the evening hours - only Aliens, the shows, and Star Tours had immediate return times (and those are probably the 2 easiest rides to catch with a short wait). Wait times also tend to drop off by a lot later in the day. I would recommend just keeping an eye on wait times in the days prior to your trip and see how/if this whole Genie+ thing improves before then. You can always make your decision day of if you want to add it.

So much of it will depend on the crowds. We were there this week, and we didn't use Genie+ because it was day 1 and I didn't know how to use it yet. We waited in a lot of LONG lines. Longer than any lines I've ever waited in at Disney, and we often go at Christmas so I'm used to crowds.

We started with ROTR, and got to the park and into line a full hour early. Ride broke down (it does that a lot) and we were in line forever, probably 90 minutes (but 60 of those minutes were before official park opening time). By the time we got out, SDD and TSMM were already at 45-60 minute waits. Smuggler's run was 20 minutes so we hopped into that line, then ran over to SDD and waited for 35 minutes, even though the posted time was 60. At TSMM, it was posted at 60 minutes and we were hoping it was a high guess so we waited but it took the full 60. Omg, that was complete torture. RNRC took a full 65 minutes of wait time. And just FYI, they did not have single rider lane while we were there (we checked).

TOT the line dropped in the evening, I think we waited like 35 minutes.

Indiana Jones isn't open right now.

MMRR we ended up purchasing the LL because we seriously couldn't wait in another 60 minute line again.

But even with all that waiting, we got everything done we wanted to do. It was honestly just less enjoyable because we waited in such long lines in the hot sun. I've just always managed to strategize with FP+ and hardly ever waited in long lines before this trip so it felt like kind of a bummer.
