So, I've already booked ASMu 1-20 thru 1-27 through Orbitz for $655. (Plus ebates)
Disney cannot beat this deal with their room only sale this a.m..
I cannot bring myself to pay for SPD as I just don't think that it's a deal for us.
Oh well, I'm happy with paying $655, after all, it' just for a room that we will only be sleeping and showering in.

Me too - I'm doing a split stay and am keeping what I booked on orbitz. I did decide to go ahead and book spd for the first part of our trip though. I have been crunching numbers for a week and it comes out to about the same as paying oop but with a little more breathing room. It was over MLK weekend so we had to book sports to stay within our budget. There's a reason I've never wanted to stay there. I'm trying to picture myself being surrounded by gigantic pieces of sport equipment :scared:
I think from now on I'm comparing prices with orbitz and undercover tourist to determine what my real discount is...

That's exactly what I've been doing. Booking seperately works out best for us. We aren't big on spending $$$$ for Disney food, so the SPD would be over budget for us. Undercover Tourist cannot be beat with their prices especially subscribing to Mousesavers for the additional discount. You know, it's almost sucking the fun out of going to Disney with all of the cost.
