I'm a little unhappy right now -- this is NOT our first trip to Disney, but for some reason I'm having a heck of a time getting information, etc. this time around (from the Disney people.)

I had to call a couple times to get something in writing from them regarding the dining plan, have yet to received some information about the flight to orlando (this is the first time we have booked airfare throught Disney, I usually do it myself) and I donno....

(I made dinning reservations based on reviews I read here, and my previous experience, but I wanted to be sure I had it correct and boy it was like pulling teeth to get that little booklet).

Shouldn't I have received SOMETHING from them regarding the airline tickets? When I call, they say yes, but I received the Disney infamous plastic envelope (and yes, it does smell) in the mail, with the luggage tags, but no airline voucher??

I guess I'll have to call yet AGAIN. Seems like something has changed in their customer service area in the past two years. Or maybe I'm just having a run of bad luck.

Any thoughts, suggestions out there?
 
Today I am sending the Magical Express tickets back to them for the 2nd time. They just can't seem to fix the names on them. I paid for a trip for my daughters and they keep sending me all the paperwork in my name.

My problem with this is I paid for both trips in April (we're going too) so I could be done with the whole thing once and for all. Wrong .... I thought we had it done after returning three reservation confirmations to get the girls names right but as soon as ME packages showed up we had to start again. They keep saying that everything is correct in the system and they don't know why I keep getting old info. I keep telling them that you can't get on an airplane when your ID says one thing and your ticket says another.

I understand how the problem started, I booked our trip one day and theirs two days later (they had a change of heart and decided they wanted to go) but they were not able to get them on the same airline as us. The problem is that DD19 (is the adult) traveling with DD17 so the tickets need to be right so they don't hold them up at the gate. We leave an hour ahead of them and wont be able to help if there is still a problem "in the computer" I told them this morning that this was the last time I was calling them and if I need to buy them new tickets I will and Disney would get the bill. They told me they would overnight the new tickets today ......... I'll let ya know

I still love the place, but would like them to fix the reservation that was paid in full four months ago.
 
I know what you mean! I have never had the kind of problems I have had this booking and getting all my info right. I'm on my 4th call now. I booked 6 weeks ago, got my papers and they had the wrong resort listed with the wrong view. It isn't like we mis-understood each other while booking. Then I called to fix it and they said I had no deposit! :furious: Hello down their, I paid for the whole thing with a credit card!!! So they send me new papers and the resort was wrong again! At this point I don't think Mickey even knows we're coming :confused3 ...he should talk to my credit card company, they don't seam to have a problem billing me for it. :rotfl:
 
In regards to flight tickets I was told several times on the phone when making my reservation we would not get tickets or vouchure in the mail we had e ticket all we would need it the information packet we would get and our Photo Id's.

I hear what you're saying, the problem i'm having is they put my name on my daughters ticket. I thought it was fixed until the ME showed up a week ago :furious: oh well, I know they will get it right sooner or later.

last August we had problems getting our Magical Express tickets as well. and we booked a year ahead of time. we did a Magical Gathering with DF's family. only one person in our party got their tickets, and they ended up getting the wrong ones anyway, for the wrong hotel. no one else(out of the 22 people that went!) recieved theirs. and boy did they give us the HARDEST time at the gate too! they made us go get our own luggage and bring it to the bus, they didn't do anything! and then our luggage didn't come until 4 hours later. i really don't want to use ME again.
