I was trying to read some online.. Is the coral seas at Epcot good? The price range is $26 to $75 so that doesn't really help much... is it cheaper during lunch?

Just trying to find or two nice places to eat during our week and I was wondering would we need reservations?

Hi there. It has been a long time we have been to The Coral Reef, but I don't recall it being to memorable, but expensive. There have not been to many positive reviews here for it. Are you looking to eat at Epcot and would it be lunch or dinner? A favorite of ours is LeCellier.

Good luck! :)

Look under Dining on allearsnet.com. Al the menus are there. You can brouse and see what falls within your price range. (I look at them often in an attemt to immunize myself from sticker shock when we get there.)

Actually, the best way to experience the Epcot restaurants and save a little money is to go for lunch. I usually have a light breakfast (or skip) it and have an early lunch or get a ps for a late lunch and then skip dinner or have a snack at the hotel.

My personal choice for Epcot is Alfredo's. The food and service are great. The Coral Reef was not that great an experience.

The Coral Reef is great in atmosphere + high in price.

I like the food, but my family doesn't really care for it so we haven't been in a while. I'd eat there once for the experience and then you can decide whether to go again or not, but it's definitely fairly low on our list of favorite restaurants at Epcot (due to price and my family's tastes).

LeCellier is our favorite. Marakesh is great too.

If you want to eat at traditional lunch times, like noon to 1:30 or so, yes, you need a PS (Disney speak for a reservation). You can go in and wait usually at lunch time, but that does tie up alot of time. You can get a PS by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

Our favorite places for lunch in Epcot are LeCellier and Rose and Crown. I love the steak burger at LeCellier and the fish and chips at Rose and Crown.

Chefs de France had a "French Menu" for lunch that includes onion soup, entree, and dessert - all for around $15. That's a great deal.
