...you must try the cabbage lasagna! I thought, as most people do, that is sounds awful. I was surprised that it was great!

I also loved the mushroom risotto in Palos.

Everything I tried at the Palo's brunch was fab! Even the personal pizza! I ordered that after I had a big meal and our server wrapped it up in foil (and made it look like a swan!) so I could have it as a snack later on. I love cold pizza, and that cold pizza was the best ever! OOOHH! My mouth is watering for the cruise food! I think what makes it taste even better is that you don't have to make it and you don't have to clean the dishes!

Cruising is truly a dream!

If you have brunch in Palo, be sure to try the Lemon Merangue pie. It sounds common and ordinary, but it is very, very good.

The best things to try are those items that you have never had before, sound a little too exotic and daring to try at a restaurant at home (not to mention the expense). They great thing about the cruise is that if you try something that you don't really like, they will bring you a second choice!!

So be adventurous in your dinning choices. For example, I really don't like fish at all but I tried the Herb crusted Sea Bass mentioned earlier and I really, really enjoyed it.

The escargot in Lumiere's are excellent.
Coconut shrimp are good.
Mickey ice cream bars on the kids menu, yummy as always.

Don't be shy - order as much as you like, and share with the table if you dare. It's a good idea to have a 'dessert buddy', that way you can have more desserts to try each night.

I'm with jrabbit, try everything! I am a very picky eater and I'm always afraid to try new things out (because..what if I don't like it, I've paid dearly for something I'm not gonna eat). I've tried things that I've never heard of before. There were some things I didn't care for, but at least I tried them. I even found a few things that I really liked. The wait staff was wonderful about it. If you didn't care for it all you had to do was tell them (and sometimes they could just tell you didn't care for it without you ever saying a word) and they will gladly bring you something else..and the best part is they never make you feel bad about not liking it (or wasting it). Our server Mariana was a dream come true! Everyone should be so lucky to have her! There was one time my nephew tried something, she knew he wasn't going to like it so she had gone ahead and ordered something else for him. She was just awesome!

My favorites:
Orange Mango soup (it's eaten cold and sound eewww but was very good!)
Chocoloate lave cake
Mickey bar, with extra choc. sauce for diping once the hard choc shell is gone.
Mauhi Mauhi (sp?) Not a big fish eater but this was very tastey

Please tell me this is just a cruel joke? LOL I am not a fish eater, but this was the absolute best item on the menus! If they don't have it anymore, guess I will just eat in Topsiders the whole time...sigh!

I have to agree with the chocolate lava cake ~ try it with ICE CREAM!! Also the chocolate souffle is the best! I liked everythihng that I had on the Magic, and I am a very picky eater ( don't like my food to touch, hate condoments, don't eat sauces...you get the picture)

All of the cheesecakes are excellent (says one who tried them all) including the no-sugar added one

The apple pie is great IF you asked for it to be warmed - all 4 of us had it that way

I'm with everyone else about the maple glazed salmon - my favorite dish on the <a href="http://get-faster.com?go=cruise" onmouseover="window.status = 'goto: cruise';return 1" onmouseout="window.status=''">cruise</a>. That night I also had the lobster and shrimp rolls - they were excellent as well. Animators Palette on show night was definitely my most favorite menu!
