First time on the DDP and have never been a big counter service family- which ones are not to miss at the parks and resorts- thanks!!:cool1:

At DTD, Wolfgang Puck Express. Another one people like is Earl of Sandwich.
At AK, Flametree BBQ.
At Epcot, Sunshine Season in the land pavillion, is a food court. Lots of different choices. Another one I've read good things about is the Tangierine Cafe in Morocco.

At DTD we like Earl of Sandwich.
At MK we like Cosmic Rays, and Caseys.
At Epcot our favorite is Sunshine Seasons.
These are our favorites!!!

My choices:

MK Columbia Harbor House - grab your tray and head upstairs for a quiet break. The soups and sandwiches are my favorite - fresh and good.

Epcot - Sunshine Seasons - kind of a food court with something for everyone. Another bonus: a little bakery area with awesome desserts

DHS - Starring rolls -limited menu (huge yummy sandwiches and bakery items) but slim pickins at DHS. I like the little outdoor patio

AK - Flametree BBQ is always popular but we like Pizzafari. Everything we've had here has been good. Check out all of the dining rooms they are all different, colorful and fun.

MK - Cosmic Ray's or Columbia Harbour House (sooo good!)
Epcot - Sunshine Seasons
DHS - Backlot Express
AK - Yak and Yeti (QS)
DTD - Earl of Sandwich

have fun on your trip! :goodvibes

DHS: Toy Story Pizza Planet
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons
MK: Cosmic Rays
DTD: Earl of Sandwich
No preferences at AK right now. Do not usually eat here.

For me it would be as follows.

MK- Cosmic Rays

Epcot- Tangierine Cafe(If on dp this is a great value and portions are huge)
a close second would be Sunshine Seasons.

AK- Flametree BBQ

DHS- At this park it would be absolutely nowhere. I'd hop on the boat and head over to Epcot. But if you must eat here I would advice to never, ever, take the risk and eat at ABC Commissary.

MK - Cosmic Rays or Pecos Bill

DHS - Pizza Planet, nothing to write home about but I think the best choice for this park.

AK - DH loves flametree, I prefer Yak & Yeti QS

EPCOT - Anywhere in the world showcase!

You HAVE to go to Downtown Disney and get to Wolfgang Pucks Express! It is all sooooo good! When we stayed at POFQ, we'd take the boat there and ate like 4 times in 7 days. There is not one bad thing on the menu and the creme brulee is fantastic.

My choices:

MK Columbia Harbor House - grab your tray and head upstairs for a quiet break. The soups and sandwiches are my favorite - fresh and good.

On our last trip...we stumbled into this restaurant and went upstairs...it was the week before easter at about 3 pm and the upstairs was almost empty. We enjoyed some pretty good theme park food and got the best relaxation and rest. I can't believe I had never been there before!

Our favorites would be:

MK Columbia Harbour House followed by Peco Bill's
AK Flame Tree B'bque, but we haven't tried Yak & Yeti yet
DHS Nothing is great but the Backlot Express is passable.
EC. We love the International CS in WS. Our favorites include; Cantina de San Angel in Mexico, Sommerfest in Germany, Tangerine Cafe in Morroco, the French Bakery in France, Harry Ramsden's Fish & Chips in the UK

Have a Great Trip

Favorite overall is Tangierine Cafe in Epcot. Second at Epcot would be Sunshine Seasons.

MK is Columbia Harbor House.

AK we prefer Flame Tree over Yak n Yeti.

DHS nothing, we always do a TS here since we haven't found any CS we like.

DTD our fav is Earl of Sandwich but Wolfgang's is good too.

MK: Columbia Harbour House or Cosmic Rays

AK: used to be Tusker House, before they made it TS, now we hop over to the Pepper Market at CSR

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons, Norwegian bakery, French bakery, or Tangerine Cafe

DS: YUCK!! nothing, we hop on the boat and go over to the World Showcase for lunch.

Resort: Pepper Market at CSR

DTD: Wolfgang Pucks Express

:thumbsup2 I completely agree. Somehow we always wind up at the Commissary out of desparation. It never, ever gets any better. Ever.

DTD: Wolfgang Puck Express (probably my favorite CS anywhere on property) or Earl of Sandwich

Epcot: Sunshine Seasons

MK: Not a huge fan of anything here, but we usually wind up at Pecos Bills

AK: I think all the CS options here are pretty good

DHS: :scared:

Don't believe all this stuff about DHS; there are good choices. Studio Catering has a great bbq sandwich with chips and the sandwiches at Starring Rolls are good and as good a choice of desserts as you'll find. Pizza Planet is good but not great, and Backlot Express has the best fries at Disney. I'm too askeered from all the comments on here to try ABC Commissary.

We ate at ABC Commissary last summer and I don't understand all the bad reviews. It was a big, air conditioned building with typical burgers and they tasted fine to me. The chocolate mousse was really good.

I don't have any to reccomend for AK or DHS, but definitely don't miss Columbia Harbor House at MK or Tangerine Cafe at Epcot! They're my two favorites so far.

Ditto. I've had the fish & chips there the last couple trips we've made. We chose it because it was convenient, but it was quick, easy to find seating, and the food was fine by our standards (which, based on all the negative comments I was beginning to think we're especially low, lol). I mean, it's certainly NOT Harry Ramsden's, but it was acceptable for everyone in our group (9 the first trip, 6 the second) . . ..

Long story short, I'm not going out of my way to make sure to hit ABC, but if it's close and it's time . . . it'll do.
