We're off the BCV 1st week in December. Victoria and Alberts fist night there!

I made the mistake of bringing my wife there four years ago, no we don't miss it.

This is our first Christmas trip to Disney. What are the must see events, etc.?

:santa: That's a tough one. Don't miss anything. We will be there also 12-2 to 12-14 at BWV.

MVMCP You have to do this at least once if not more.
Candlelight Processional at EPCOT is a must.
Visit the resorts, beautiful decorations.

There is sooooo much more to see and do while visiting at Christmas Time, enjoy your trip I know we will.

Also the tapping of MVMCP will be at the MK that weekend 12-6. This can be very crazy at times.

The Osborne Lights at DHS are spectacular!

Take time to see the BW area hotel lobbies, as well as WL. You'll be at the GF and that's a must see as well!

There's a holiday ending to Illuminations.

Have a great time! We found out about Disney's holiday experiences 6 years ago, and we go back every December ever since then. Even DTD is special, with local groups entertaining in the evenings.

Must see the Osborne spectalcle at DHS
Must go to MVMCP
Take a little time to catch as many resort decorations as possible.

Thanks for posting this question, looking for the same info. We will be there the first week also at BCV, maybe we will see you there. I'll be the one with one eye attached to the camera 24/7. :magnify: Can't wait to see all the decorations. It will be me, my DD, DH, and DFIL. Have a great trip!

I agree that the Osborne spectacle of lights is awesome. The Christmas trees at the resorts are amazing! I also really like Mickey's Jingle Jungle parade at AK. Candelight processional is great. I personally also like Holidays around the world where they tell you how the holidays are celebrated in all the different countries at Epcot.

Another recommendation for Osbourne Lights, they're gorgeous! :thumbsup2

Another vote for the osbourne lights and make sure to take the time to visit the resorts. We spend a day just touring the resorts and taking in all the decorations.

We're going the first week of Dec. and on my must do ilist is:
1. Osbourne lights
2. Visit the resort, last year DH & I did this while the others went to the parks and really had a great time.
3. Candlelight Procession
4. MVMCP

Have fun, its a magical time of the year. :santa:

We are there the second week but have gone the last two years and have done MVMCP, I always tape Osbourne Lights, the resort decorations are beautiful, love EPCOT around the world christmas celebrations, candlelight processional, just the atmosphere in the parks, as well!

Have a great week!

We will also be there the first week of December and while I think everyone has hit my favorites be sure to take more time at EPCOT's World Showcase as they have Christmas Around the World and you get to see how each country celebrates Christmas. My must sees are as follows:
Candlelight Processional (EP) - I get goosebumps thinking about it
Christmas Around the World (EP)
Osborne Family Spectacle of Light (MGM-HS)
Each park decorated for Christmas
Wilderness Lodge decos followed by GF, BW, and AKL.
Let's just say at the end of the day Disney knows how to do Christmas! And those of you who have attended the Candlelight will know exactly what I mean.:santa:

My DH forgot one of my fav's The Storytellers in Epcot!!!!

This will be our first year going back to WDW at Christmastime with DS, and hitting some of the EPCOT holiday storytellers is a must. The trees at WL and GF are no to be missed, including the gingerbread house at GF.

We've never seen the Jingle Jungle Parade, and usually skip AK all together during our short December trip, but maybe we'll swing by this trip.

The Jingle Jungle Parade at AK is worth the trip. We saw it for the first time 2years ago, and last year, we made the dash to AK on the day we arrived, just to see it, we think it's that good! It's very unique and creative.

We were that last year during the the first week of Dec. My favorite was Candelight Procession. I enjoyed it much more than my kids, but they sat through it with me. We loved the MVMCP, Osborne Lights and the resort decorations. We stayed at VWL. That added to the season.
Have a wonderful time. It is the best time of year to go to WDW

We will be there from Dec. 7th through Dec. 19th and the one thing that I absolutely must do is the Candlelight Processional. Disney does a great job with everything at Christmas, from the parks to the resorts, but this would be my one must-see.

We enjoy the Christmas decorations at the resorts. We try to have a drink at the bar in say, Wilderness Lodge, to see the fantastic tree and then head over to Flying Fish. Or the Grand Floridian, or Animal Kingdom Lodge......
