Not to early to start planning! 8 Adults where would you stay?

My youngest daughter graduates in 2015. There will be 8 of us travelling, 4 Disney veterans, 4 Disney newbies. 4 males, 4 females. Only my husband & myself can "share" a bed as a couple but I'm not opposed to 1 room for us girls, and 1 room for the boys.

so....we usually get one room for our family of 4 at Pop, or one of the All stars.... we've never travelled with so many..... I'm open to anything but keep in mind we are park commando types & we just don't spend a lot of time in our rooms. should I look into dvc points? two rooms at a value?

what do ya'll recommend?

I really like your idea about one room for boys and one for girls. If you like Values that's a fine way to go.

I was recently pricing DVC points and I don't think you'll be able to get anything as inexpensive as 2 Value rooms. Plus when I was looking at transportation, I think the Values are more efficient than the DVC resorts. Your least expensive DVCs are Old Key West and Saratoga Springs -- both have multiple stops.

If you are talking about four adults in each room, one bathroom is kind of hard unless people are willing to shower at night. We did one trip with our adult size kids four in a room and I wouldn't do it again. It took forever to get through the morning process and to the parks with four adults in a room.

Also, my male children were forced to share a bed (Oh, my!), and I was told that that should not happen! Men do not share beds! Men......go figure!

Just a thought.
