... what is the average Disney wedding cost? Both intimate and custom?

Does anyone actually spring for the rose garden Castle wedding??

Thanks! I need to see if I can even consider this...

I am not sure what the average wedding costs, but I know that the custom wedding has a minimum of 10,000 to 20,000 dollars depending on the day of the week you want it on! Weekdays are less expensive while saturday I believe is the most expensive. Hope that helps some!

intimate weddings (18 guests or less plus bride & groom) start at about $3500, custom weddings begin at $10,000 to $20,000 minimums on the weekend. the magic kingdom castle weddings has a minimum of $52,000. plus accomodations for you.

were having a custom wedding tuesday at the yc gazebo, prereception at marthas vineyard, reception at ariels, dessert party, welcome dinner at dtd, outside photo & video, our accomodations, extras, etc. our wedding is costing us about $30k.

when we had our DFTW introductory wedding meeting last year...they told us that the castle wedding has a minimum expenditure of $52,000! they also said that we might not know our wedding date until a couple of months before, because they can't even do the lottery until the park publishes its' hours...it was too much "up in the air" for us....

At our meeting this year, they said that they are not currently allowing the castle weddings due to the unpredictablity of the park hours and other difficulties involved...but I have a feeling that with enough money, they might still be able to get it done...

We had inquired about the Rose Garden, too.

Our EM said that they were not even currently scheduling them in the parks. A lot of it has to do with the big celebrations each year. We really wanted one with the castle all decked out for the 50th this year... no luck! Not even really possible from what we were told!

It's always worth the inquiry, but don't get your heart set on it!
xoxo

Yeah we were told the same, they said they had stopped the castle weddings until further notice!

Same Here, Our SM told us that it was mainly due to the 50th anniversary. The park hours being unpredictable and such... But in a year it should be ending, so maybe they will start the castle weddings up again.

Not sure if you knew about the alternative to actually marrying at the castle - having your pictures taken there with your wedding dress on! If you get married any where in Walt Disney World, you can opt for the "Magic Kingdom Photo Session" - you and your husband go to the park before it opens to the public with a disney photographer and you have your pictures taken in a variety of places in front of the castle, in the foyer of the castle, on a balcony of the castle and so on. They make for gorgeous photographs!!! (this option is about $800.00 btw)

If you look in the sticky thread at the top of the page with links to people's pictures, you can see some pictures of this.

Anyway, as for the cost of the wedding, I'm having a custom wedding here are some of the prices, I am estimating 50 guests;

Fantasmic dessert party; about $1,600
Epcot Ceremony fee: $1200
Charter bus for guests: $650 or so
Limo for wedding party: $350 or so
Floral package: $1800 or so
Guitar & Flue duo: $780 or so
Reception food: $4,500 or so
DJ: $900
Micky, Minnie, and Stitch appearances: $1425
MK Photo session: 800

Photography: $1,800
Videography: 2,000

Total for disney will be about $15,000 or so, total for outside vendors (photography and videography) about $4,000

Yeah i did know about that thanks! im trying to "tweak" my budget so i can accomdate all these things i want lol! Your wedding sounds like its going to be great fun!
