Not-to-be-Missed Queue's

We will be visiting IOA/US at the end of June. We are staying oniste (HRH) so we plan to take full advantage of the FOTL access.

I have heard that Dueling Dragons has an absolutely fabulous queue - so good it is an attraction in itself. Are there any other queues so good they are worth the wait - at least once?

I would not miss the ET que... its awesome!! its themed like a forest and very detailed... from dirt on the floor to crickets churping... you can even smell the forest... its awesome!! you have to see it... as for other cues.. well i guess shrek will be good... Kongfrontations cue was very cool but its been taken out to make room for a new attraction, I like popeyes cue and spidermans cue allot but they are skipable... good luck!

I really like some of the things in the MIB queue. I also like Spiderman's queue. Take your time there and look at all the items on the desks, shelves, etc. in the "Newsroom".

Not only can you miss some great stuff in the queues (like Dueling Dragons), you can actually miss the entire set-up for the the ride, which in a case like "Spiderman" can result in you not understanding what the heck is going on. If you haven't seen the videos that are playing in the regular lines, you won't know the storyline - even having seen the videos, it can be difficult to figure out exactly what's going on in there as quickly as the ride moves along.

I also think Dr. Doom's Fearfall has a great (albeit entirely unnecessary queue - those Doombots are awesome!).

This is, in my opinion, one of the greatest shortcomings of the EXPRESS system. It wasn't until maybe the seventh time I rode Dueling Dragons that I realized there was a video, and I only noticed that because I was really paying attention (the video is easily a quarter of a mile away from the actual ride, which would be great if you got into a two hour line...actually no, that would be pretty hideous.

Some queues are pretty mundane. Missing the videos in Jaws is no biggie; same with Jurassic Park, Hulk, BTTF, etc. Now if I could just find a way to bypass the preshow of Earthquake, I'd be a happy panda (and if anyone has a suggestion on that one, I'm all ears. The new preshow is better, but it still isn't my cup of tea).

Oh, and another thing in the ET queue - I think it was our third time on it before we realized that an alien appeared on the "hill" above the line. Generally, we tend to let the mob run on, so we can take out time looking at all the theming (they think we're idiots, I think they're idiots - everyone goes home happy).

We got some very strange looks when we stopped in the MIB line and read all the stuff on the bulletin boards. Same thing when we stood there and watched the video for Dueling Dragons (which is masterfully done, by the way). Theming is lost on some people, which is why Six Flags stays open.

In my opinion (ironically enough), the Dr Doom queue line is much better than the ride itself!

I thought that the inside queue area for Twister was real interesting. I also liked the preshow for Terminator because the lady that plays the person in charge of the company is funny.

Spiderman has a pretty cool queve...u MUST stop and watch the video or else u will be totally clueless...Dr. Dooms is pretty cool with the fear sucker and everything. Dueling Dragons is A MUST DO QUEVE!!!!! I watched the video too...(Beautifully done!). The Popeyes queve is cool..i liked that one! HAVE FUN!!!!!!

When I went in Dueling Dragons when I was in 6th grade, the theming in the queue freaked me out. Hehe. It's spectacular!

I LOVE MIB theme!!!! I mean, when you walk past the coffee break room where those two aliens are in, read all the pin-ups on the message board (there's a message on the regular wall on the side also where the Express people walk with other pin-ups). They are totally funny and ridiculous. I found it rather entertaining when the line was backed up.

ET is definately great. You feel like you are really THERE. You are completely surrounded by "trees" and sound effects. It's dark, like it's night time and just...great.

Spiderman is decent. Nothing like the previous two.

Jaws is absolutely the WORST! Have you guys SEEN THE VIDEO!? It's been the same for years and is absolutely annoying and just...terrible! It looks like something for kids....and God knows what kid would even like it.

I loved the lady in Terminator 3-D! She is so funny with that fakey smile and everything. Truely a hoot.

A few things about the Dueling Dragon queue. The queue is very dark. One some cases, you may not be able to see where you are walking. Secondly, bring some comfortable shoes with you. The queue is extremely long. I forget the length, but it is somewhere in the neighborhood of two hundred yards. It sure feels like it.

When I went on Dueling Dragons there was literally no one in line... so we diddnt really stop to look at anything... I guess we both just wanted to ride the darn thing so bad we were confused because the que just kept going and going... I dont remember it getting very dark but then again we practically ran through the thing... I wish we would have stopped to pay attention to some of the details.

I think Jurassic could have a really cool que... I wonder why they diddnt do a better job than what they did... doesnt Jurassic in Hollywood have a video explaining that the old Jurassic park diddnt work so they built a new one around water and all.... seems like I read something about that A while back... I think a cooler que could make the whole experience so much better theres just so much they can do with it then some rope and a movie that most people don't even look at... everytime In the Que to spiderman everyone in line is talking SO loud that you cant hear the video... I diddnt really know what was going on... We missed the video the first time a rode back to the future.... umm why are we trying to bump biff?? Well Ive ridden the thing so many times now that ive figured it out... the ques make the ride allot better .. just as long as the line keep moving along.... just a thought

nooooooo... the structure you are in is a line... your surroundings are the que... "your standing in the line inside the Que area" if your just standing outside.... if the line is backed up all the way outside the que...your just in line... or thats what ive been led to believe

Well, maybe they are calling them queues but they certainly have trouble spelling them!!!
