where is the announcement regarding the return of parking lot trams for EP and HS ? They promised these would be back by the end of 2022 . It is now the middle of May 2023 and still nothing . And why isn't anyone talking about this ? It was almost 2 years ago when Steven Colbert openly mocked Disney for not having this service running . Virtually everything else has returned to normal operations since the pandemic closures . So why hasn't Disney restored this service ? For a while it was suggested that they couldn't hire enough cast members to reopen/restart pre-pandemic services but now that doesn't seem to be valid when many other things have opened since they promised the trams would be back by the end of 2022 .

I talked to a CM at MK last Wednesday and asked them about the trams.
She said they had a meeting and we’re told they are not coming back because guests aren’t complaining to have them come back.

I told her I sent multiple messages to guest services about the trams needed to come back and only always get a generic response that they will pass it on.

When it’s 95 and humid and your parked in the back of Dory you need them!!!!

I don't think it's a debbie down it's totally valid. I dislike empty promises, we're about halfway through 2023 when one of the most basic things such as parking trams couldn't be worked out. It does weigh in on guest's impressions. We heard a mom complaining about DHS last year when we went.

Another thing was the park hopping restriction wasn't mentioned at all in the announcement but keeping this on topic the trams were something publicly given a return date and yet not yet delivered with no explanation publicly.

I feel bad for the CMs that are told to say that when it's patently false. They are fully aware of the complaints they are getting. It's poor form to put it on guests who are patronizing their establishment when the issue lies with the company instead.

Agreed 100%. I overhear people complaining about the lack of trams every time I park at Epcot. I try to mention it on surveys I receive from Disney too.

I always find it funny any complaint that starts with "I talked to a CM". I have been on this board a long time and I'm not sure anything a CM said came true. I'm not saying there liars but do you really think they have any idea what's going on? When your at the bottom of the food chain you find out when you come to work that day and they ask you to work parking lot duty because the trams are back.

Why can’t OP call the thread something that has to do with parking trams?

If you talk to the ones who it concerns.
The Cm I talked too it’s her job.

They had their meeting earlier that day and they were told that guests are fine without the trams and not complaining so they are not coming back to Epcot or HS.

It would concern them since they might have to work at a different park or train people.

It’s not s bus driver talking about a park expansion.

Keep contacting guest services and tell them you want the trams back.

But very coincidental that the day you asked her was the same day they had a meeting & were told guests aren’t complaining so they’re not coming back. That’s the part I don’t believe. I’m sure you asked her & I’m sure that was her answer. It’s just too unbelievable that she was just told the exact thing you asked her about that day.

It's kind of ridiculous the Columbus Zoo has parking lot trams, but Epcot, which charges WAY more for parking (and entry, for that matter) does not.
Silver Dollar City had buses and trams (and multiple of them) for their parking lot last July when we went. That parking lot isn't even that big to begin with. They were quick and efficient getting people on and off the buses too.

And we're talking Branson which is likely not easy to gain tons of employment due to its location and yet they did/do.
