I got a pound of fresh maine shrimp right off the boat .....and I love this.....so I took the shell and tails off today and sauteed the shrimp in olive oil and a spoon full of minced garlic.....put it all in the small pan and poured a half cup or so of water in it.....let it simmer for a few.....and in another pot I cooked some linguini......not alot ...just enough for me tonight for supper (hubby ate meatloaf)....and another snack for another time......I purchased a jar of ragu alfredo sauce and only put in a little less then a half cup.....and watered it down with the water that was in with the shrimp......mixed it with the linguini and it was excellent....of course I won't be able to stop nibbling on it.......this water combo and mixing it with the shrimp and the simmerings.......cuts down on the amount of fat in this JAR......it was very tastey
Choices are between chicken fried rice, spaghetti w/sweet italian sausage in the sauce or kielbasa & noddles.
