Not thinking Ahead

HELP!! We're leaving on Friday. I thought that I woud be creative and put together autograph books for my children in 6 X 6 scrapbooks...cute papers on the right for autographs, saving the left for pics to go with after our trip.

How are my 7 year olds going to get the autograph papers out of the books to have them signed? This is why I should not try to be creative!

Go to Michael's, ACMoore, Hobby Lobby, or Joann Fabrics. Get plain cardstock and cut them into 3x5 or 4x6 rectangles. Throw them and a pack of colored click it sharpies in a ziploc bag. Go to Staples or Walmart and buy a mini clipboard. You're done! You'll be fine!!!

Take an extra ziploc bag with you to put the used cards in and put them in the hotel room at night. Are you staying on site? I use the envelope that you get in your welcome kit to keep all my WDW papers and autographs in.

Yes, and the 6 x 6 should fit in a small ziploc bag. Also if they are already decorated I would put them in alphabetical order by movie. Like Aladdin's group you would have Jasmine, Genie, and Aladdin together. I know the step sisters and step mother from Cinderella are together. You may need to shuffle a bit but ABC by movie is going to be your easiest route.
Also remember that the more paper there is the bigger the autograph. They love to take the whole space.

And you are not being stupid!! I was in your boat last month! I decided at the last minute to alter my clipboards for 4 kids!

I took 3 x 5 cards from an office supply store. They came spiral bound and then I could remove them and attach in my book. No clipboard needed. Either way you should be fine. Have no fear it will work out which ever route you choose!!!

I just punched a ton of tags at our Archiver's store to take later this month to put on layouts in my kids' "autograph books" (8x8 scapbook). They had a nice big one for the Ellison press. I think I would stress too much if I took layout pages for 3 kids.

I'm also taking a collage photo mat. I plan on getting autographs during character meals. I did this with our oldest on our last trip using an 8x10 frame with a 5x7 opening. It made a nice photo souvenir to display in her room.
