Not the Orlando area but......

We are flying into Tampa instead of Orlando this trip due to being able to get a killer Ding fare. We will arrive at 5:40pm, and will most likely want to find someplace for a quick and easy dinner. Does anyone if there's anything right at the airport or very nearby? Or should we bite the bullet and wait until we reach the Disney area?

The airport has some nice restaurants in it. Westshore (Maggianos, Palm Restaurant, etc) & International Plaza (Cheesecake factory, Grape, etc) are also close by, they have WONDERFUL restaurants in their area also. By the airport there is Charley's Steak House, Columbia Restaurant. It all depends on what your in the mood for. Hope it works out for you

There are loads of restaurants in that immediate vicinity. Do a google search and see what you come up with, and go from there.

Waiting until you get to Disney might backfire as all the restaurants there (full service) seem to require ADRs anymore, plus they close early.

Unless you wish to eat off site, then there is another load of choices on your approach to WDW from the Tampa (west) direction. Hop off I-4 on 192 and choose as you go...
