did stan lee (sorry if not the right name) team up with disney a couple of years ago. to try something new with all the old characters. and if so did ioa and disney come up with some type of license agreement?

I don't know the details but I think Mr. Lee did team up with Disney but there was something in the agreement where the older characters could not be used in the new agreement because of existing attractions. I think it was something like that.

Yes, Stan Lee signing a deal with Disney. Although Stan Lee created Spiderman, Hulk, etc, he does not own the rights to the characters. Marvel does.

Stan can't sell Disney the iconic Marvel heroes but Disney does get anything new he comes up with. About the only thing new he has created in the past few years was "Striperella."

Only the guests staying at the deluxe resorts will get in for free. All others will have to pay for a fast pass for that attraction. Think of it as a Universal touch at Disney.
