if this is the correct board for this. I apologize if it's not. MY fiance and I are going to disney on 9/12. I've been to disney many times--but as a child. That being said, I'm not really sure what to pack. Obviously the shorts/tshirts thing, but i wasn't sure there was an opportunity to switch out of the park clothes and wear something more inbetween. From what I've read on these boards, it seems the WDW has gotten a bit more casual. basically, I don't want to pack clothing i don't need, but i'd liek to get a feel for what you all pack (for adults). thanks!:flower3:

I usually pack my usual park clothes (t-shirts, tanks, shorts either kahki or denim). Then I pack my casual clothing because we always do a nice sitdown dinner. I never pack dresses, just dressie shorts and tops. I am the type of person that likes to look a little dressy, but not too much. Pack whatever you feel the most comfortable in and if you are planning on going to a nice restuarant that has a business casual code then I would pack an outfit that would fit that bill. Remember that Disney is still a vacation destination so you are going to get the people who don't care what they look like, and those that spend amples amount of time infront of the mirror.

I generally pack skorts (both denim and cotton material) and some tanks to go with them. I also have a ton of Disney shirts - I generally bring some of those. I also pack some type of sundress. We always eat at 'Ohanas and I have a few disney hawaiian style sundresses and I bring one of those. Depending on time of year - maybe one pair of capris. I live in flip flops in the summer and hate sneakers so I generally bring one or two pair of these (Bass style and I just got a pair of Crocs Capris (flip flops Crocs style). We are going this year Thanksgiving week and we were there the same time last year and a few very cold days. I had a Disney zip sweatshirt. with me that I will bring again this year. Not sure what i will do about shoes in November. I might break down and get a pair of sneakers just to keep my feet warm if it gets cold. Some people on this board might kill me but I also bring a pair of healed sandals to wear with my dress - generally not high but some type of kitten style sandal. I have a great pair of espadrils (?) with maybe a 2 inch heal and I might bring this for the dress. I generally will not wear this to the park. We generally do not go back to the hotel to change but the one night we eat out for a special dinner we do.

Linda
