Hello
I have a problem I am not sure about.
I have just booked flights from Glasgow to Orlando with flyglobespan.
I need to book our domestic return flight from Manchester to Glasgow, and decided on Flybe. However on starting to book online tonight I noticed that baggage check in only allowed 20kg maximum combined weight of all suitcases. This is way too little as there is 4 of us. It wont be too bad going , but coming back our suitcases will be loaded, I am sure.
Is there anything we can to get around this?
I have read that some airlines will honour luggage weight, if booked together.
Flyglobespan dont do manchester to Glasgow, but do you think if I phone they would book us flights with flybe to meet the flight to Orlando? Is this possible?
I really dont want to have to pay excess luggage on our return.
Has anyone had this problem before?

Not sure if this is any help but just found this on the Flybe website.

Hold baggage for Economy passengers
20 kg per person (excluding infants)
Hand baggage for Economy passengers
Maximum permitted dimensions = 50cm x 35cm x 23cm.
Max weight = 10kg in one bag.
The maximum permissible weight for a single item of checked in baggage is 30kg.

So it is 20kg per person and then the hand luggage on top as well. That's the same as what we have when we go with First Choice.

Thanks, I couldnt find the per person when I was looking, so thats a relief. I somehow thought that it was 20kg shared between the party, but I now know its per person.
