I booked a hotel on Priceline from 1/1 - 1/7/2007 and originally planned on buying 4 day park hopper tickets good during the "Adults play for the kids price" promotion that starts 1/3. But, it is forecasted to rain on Jan 4th and quite possibly the 5th and 6th. We have myself, DH, 17yo friend, 16yo DD, 12yo DS and 6 yo DD with us so only one child ticket. It is cheapest for us to do the "play at the kid price', rather than paying $30. more per person to go earlier in the week with less chance of rain.
What would you do? We live in Arizona and are used to very warm climate.
It is usually warm when it rains also. But, I know from growing up in the Bay Area in CA that the CA rain is usually cold and it gets colder at night.
Oh, also my 16yo DD's boyfriend, the 17yo, this will be his first time to Disneyland and I want it to be a great trip for him.
His parents are deaf and have never been to Disney because of finances and I think they don't like crowds. His mother is very excited for him to go with us. I just don't want him to go home and say it was cold and wet and he didn't have a good time. He is a pretty laid back kid (to be my daughter's boyfriend he has to be, LOL, she is strong willed!) so it would have to be pretty bad for him to not enjoy it.
Any suggestions??
