Not sure the supply hiatus is working for me

I've been good and, even though I had to go to AC Moore today for birthday party items for DD#1, I did NOT buy anything even remotely connected to scrapping. That's the good news.

The bad news is my next stop was the Disney Store, where they are having their semi-annual sale. I already bought a bunch of stuff last week and today I bought more. I really like the Tiki Kingdom clothes. I bought the shorts and tank top last week. Today I bought the dress and accessories to wear to my Chef Mickey birthday dinner 7 weeks from tonight . That's not all the stuff I bought, but it's all I'm confessing .

I know that somewhere in the back of my mind, I justified it all with, "Well, I haven't bought any scrapbook supplies in 2 weeks!".

I may have to break the hiatus....it's costing me a fortune

I should be on a general spending hiatus (and with a new michaels right up the street I actually spend LESS - no need to stock up when it's a mile away right?)

Anyhoo - did that disney store sale include cheap t shirts by any chance? I want to get some more matching ones for our next trip (yes we are a bunch of matching goobers a day or two but it looks great in pics and really no one notices in disney).

we do the matching thing as well. actually, i bought dh a hawaiian shirt for fathers day and wanted to get something to match for ds and i. so i went back bought a smaller one for me and a big giant one and my mil is going to take the material and make one for ds. so we will all have matching shirts for when we check into the poly!!!! i just can't wait!!!

You guys AREN'T helping, LOL.

The Tiki Kingdom stuff is really cute. I got DD#2 (5 years old) the 2 piece bathing suit last week and she looks so cute in it. The dress I bought for me is VERY fitted through the tummy area, so I am wearing it on the first full day of our first ever DDP trip so the food doesn't have time to land around my waist.

The T shirts are around $5 at the moment. I got a High School Musical one for DD#1, who will be 11 next week. They had children's coordinated T shirts and shorts for $6/each, so I picked up a Mickey outfit and a Minnie outfit for DD#2. I put them away to save for the trip so she has a nice outfit for Chef Mickey.....we buy the souvenir photo they take while you wait for your table and I want everyone looking spiffy.

party of 3: We arrive on the 13th for one night at Pop Century to satisfy my curiosity about the place which came about because of all the rave reviews on these boards. Then on the 14th (my birthday) we move over to Yacht Club until the 20th.

I'm trying to be good - with all the swap postage I can't afford supplies anyway Except for the 1/2 price pizza box of stuff I got from a company closing down. and a few bits from CTMH because the consultant I was using went back to the US and I wanted to encourage the new one. But that's really it, honest

Uh oh.... you said High School Musical. I was resisting until then- DD is obsessed with High School Musical. ....I will not go to the Disney store, I will not go to the Disney store, I will not go.....
