Not sure if this is the right place, but a F&W question...

I know the kiosks will take your DDP snack credits for some of the items, but can you just use your KTTW cards for charging at them?

We plan on snacking our way around for dinner and will use more than our snack credits and didn't want to use cash as we normally charge stuff on our card that isn't covered by the DDP. Is this allowed? If not, I did hear someone mention a pre-loaded charge card for F&W, can you tell me about that?

Thanks!

You can use the following to pay at the World Showcase kiosks:

Cash
Credit card (probably debit cards too)
KTTW card with charging privileges
Disney gift cards
Disney Visa reward dollars
DDP snack credits, for anything but alcohol (still waiting for final confirmation on these for 2011)

The card you refer to is just a Disney gift card made smaller, printed with a Festival logo and attached to a wristband. If you get one, you can load it with money to spend anywhere Disney gift cards are accepted, and you can also reload it. It can be used exactly like a regular Disney gift card.

the nice thing about the wrist card is it is right there ready to use, not opening a bag to get it out :woohoo:

Where do you get one of the "wristband" cards? At your resort? Is it a stretchy wrist band, like a spring? Or more like a hospital wrist band?

To add on to pat fan's questions, what is the quality of the wrist bands? Are they sturdy and not likely to fall apart or are they like the Photopass wrist bands they give at like TL that never last more than 1 other slide where you have to constantly look to see if it's still attached?

You get them at Epcot. You can pick them up at the Festival Center and at various Festival merchandise shops that lead into World Showcase. I was able to get one at the Guest Relations kiosk outside the International Gateway. Epcot resort guests should also be able to find it at the store just inside the turnstiles, as well.

They are a sturdy plastic formed in a spiral. I found that I needed to really stretch them out because they are suitable for smaller wrists.

Thanks for the info. We were just going to use a $200 GC my girlfriend got from getting the Disney Visa, but since we have a full day+ that we plan on spending at just F&W, I'm considering puting that towards our room credit and just getting a wrist band instead.

You can see the wrist gift cards pretty well in these pictures from last year:
