Not sure if I’ve gone crazy

I've seen a lot of terrible homelessness in a lot of places, but Anaheim is the only place I've ever seen a man laying on a park bench missing the top half of the back of his pants and boxers because they wore down.

I didn't feel unsafe, but it's not the sort of thing I'd feel great about my kids seeing unless we were having some serious discussions about capitalism, respect, our responsibilities to our neighbors, etc (not my idea of theme park fun talk).
When we saw multiple fights while walking back to Hyatt House during one trip back in 2017 we decided only on property for us moving forward. It’s possible this doesn’t happen anymore (there are staunch Anaheim Harbor Blvd defenders on the boards here that say it’s cleaned up) I don’t know but I’m happy in my Disney bubble and won’t be going back to no bubble and finding out.

My experience was circa 2014/2015, so it's been a while. Hopefully it's a bit better now. It was shocking to see how destitute people were there, even though I was used to seeing some pretty bad west coast homeless encampments. At least those folks had pants.

The worst (in my experience) is San Diego I wont go near old town and the police dont do anything about it unless they attack you and they sure do
