Well during winter break my best friend got a boyfriend. But ever since they started dating she's almost completely stopped talking to me. Dont get me wrong i'm happy for her i just dont know how to say anything without her getting mad because it was the same thing her previous boyfriend. I think she gets too attatched. And to make it even worse I want to try to get to know him too since its my best friends boyfriend but he wont even say hi to me... Any ideas on what I should do?

well here's my advice:

I know it'll be hard but just say look i am glad you have a boyfriend, but i don't apprciate it that you have basically just left me in the dust. Yeah it probally will hurt her at first, but if she doesn't accept the fact you are trying to let her know how you feel maybe she's not one of your real friends.


I have a "friend" that acts like the alpha female and she is totally hitting on my ex and i still haven't gotten up the nerve to talk to her completely i mena i have said bits and pieces to clue her in but she has no clue what she is doing and she will get hurt because my ex is a stupid jerk who wants all or nothing....CREEPER

Just try to talk to her. She's your best friend, she should understand. My best friend and I don't hang out as much now that she has a boyfriend but we are sure to make time for one another at least once every other week.

Talk to her. Be like "yo, you're ignoring me, loser." (thats what I did when this happened. she laughed so hard she almost peed her pants)

then (if you've got a bf/gf sorry don't know what sex you are) ask her if she wants to double so you can get to know her man. if you don't, just suggest all three of you hanging out.

Im going to try talking to her. All three of us kinda hang out because we have the same lunch ( i eat every other day with them because it was akward everyday) but no matter what i try he wont say hi..maybe its because we're from different "cliques". But i am going to try talking to her hopefully she see's where im coming from. Thanks

Ah good luck. It's a horrible situation to be in.

My best friend's ex-boyfriend not only tried to stop her talking to me but would randomly slap me across the face, run up behind me and try to take my legs out, or kick or punch me. The worst part was that half the time my best friend was stood right by me. When i confronted her about it she'd laugh and tell me it was funny and he was only messing around. It was a bit too hard to be joking around. When i asked him about it he said he did it because he didn't like me. Well there's a few people that i don't like but do you see me trying to get them admitted to casualty? Well sadly i'm not the type to just sit there and let someone abuse me but i tried to for my friends sake. I remember one day i'd had enough and as he tried to kick my, i blocked it with my arm. Gave him a really nasty bruise, he didn't try again. My friend was majorly mad that i'd left a mark on him then i pointed out that he was lucky he hadn't kicked hard enough for it to have broken his shin bone(because it can, my dad taught me that move)
