not sure how to react to this one....

i was at work yesterday, and this lady came in for some off the wall plumbing fixtures. while talking with her she asked about wooden bowls to be used as a sink. told her i actually make wooden bowls but never made a sink..lol


and gave her my e mail to send me a link to them so i could check them out and see if i could make her one to her size specs.


so she mailed me the links, and i replyed with links to my online sample pics...



this morning she replyed turns out she is a real working artist. trying to open a gallery in our area and looking for works to put in it... and wants to display my stuff. also she sells her stuff through a well know gallery on magazine street in n'orleans... and asked if she could send my pics to the owner there, who also might be interested in showing my work and selling it for me.


she also wants to commision me to make her a sink


so i may now be a real working artist.

apparently wooden sinks use several coats of marine grade polyurethane to water proof.


and thanks. it would be nice to see my pieces start bringing in the cash some of the similar pieces i have seen sell for.
