Not sure how to handle my pts

I just added on at BLT with a Feb UY. So I'm getting 2009 and then in Feb 2010 those points. The problem is I don't think I will use any of the points till 2011. I am pretty sure I can't bank my 2009 points for a May 2011 trip.

But, I have already booked a 2br for six nights in March 2010 at BCV(home). To get the reservation I used banked 09 points, all 2010 points and a little of 2011 points.

Can I(once we get within 7 months) call DVC and ask to use my BLT points for 2009 to satisfy that reservation and to "unuse" my 2010 BCV points? Is that against the rules?

In the long run once I get the points straight was to use our 160 pts at BCV one year and our 160 points at BLT another. I can get 320 points by banking and borrwing annually and it sounds great becasue we basically want a 2 bdr for a week once a year. But, I don't just want to "waste" the 2009 points at BLT using them for things other than Disney.

Suggestions if I explained my problem good enough. Thanks

You would be canceling the original reservation and making a new one that uses the BLT points. So it depends on availability. If there is a waitlist for the nights you are canceling and re booking, you would lose the reservation.

Another option for the 2009 BLT points is to transfer them to another member.
