Not Sure About the Dining Plan

I have never used the dining plan and I am thinking about using for our next trip. I had a couple of questions about it that were not outlined in the plan. I was looking over the menus on allears and my questions are this- Are you restricted to certain appetizers and deserts?? For intstance, at the Rainforest Cafe there is a app that states on the menu that it is for two or more, does that mean that if you ordered it it would be counted for two, same question for desert, in reference to the larger deserts for more than one person. I also was wondering if the kids are able to order appetizers from the regular adult menu, as there are not often apps on the kids menu. One more quick ? Are you allowed to share on the dining plan?? because honestly with an appetizer, entree and desert, this is definitely too much food for any of us. Sorry for all the questions especially if they have already been asked Iam just trying to be realistic and judge whether or not the plan is really worth the $$.
Thanks
Kim

I'm fairly certain that all of your questions have been asked and answered in the "FAQ about the Disney Dining Plan" thread that is pinned at the top of the page.

Hope that helps!

I got the plan and it's the same menu!!!

It's 37.99 per person, per night and that includes tips!!! I booked at Narcoossee's and Boma and Boma buffet for dinner is 24.99 and Narcoossee's (which is two table services), some of the stuff is over 50 bucks. So totally worth it in my case I think!

I've never been either...so excited!!

We went in November and we expierenced this...........

1) If it says for two app. or dessert then it would be fot two people, if there was only one person they would not include it in the dinning plan.

2) I am not sure about children but from what I have read it depends on the resturant whether they will or will not allow them to order app. off the adult menu, this anwser also goes with your 3rd question about sharing.
