Not-So-Scary Spooktacular

I have planned a trip for DW, DS7, DS5, DD2 to arrive in Disney on Halloween. We have our tickets for the Not-So-Scary Spooktacular but I don't know what to expect. We will either bring costumes, ship them or have them ready in the room when we get there.

Do the kids go trick or treating? I am a planner and would like to know what to expect.
