Hello all. Making the trip to WDW 10/18-10/23. Does anyone have any info regarding the Halloween parade/party? I have looked at the October schedule that is posted here but there is no mention of it. Trying to find out some date and time info so that I can plan our days.

Thanks in advance.

We'll probably hear the dates announced at the end of April. But you can kind of tell by looking at the time MK closes as to which dates it wil lbe.

Looks like the 18th, 21st and 23rd for my week. Park closes @ 7 each of those days and there are no Disney Wishes parades or Main St Electric parades.

Thanks! :thumbsup2

Have you (or anyone) ever been? Is it worth the extra ticket price?

The event is def worth the extra price. You can enter as early as 4 so you have time to ride rides, but most are open during the event (NOTE: Save HM for the night. It gets special, trust me ;) ). You also get unlimited trick or treating, a special fireworks show and parade, and 2 dance parties. It's alot of fun and I'm probably going opening night! :yay:

Thanks. As for the actual event starting time...that is usually around 7pm after normal park closing?

Technically the party starts at 7pm, but they will let you in to the park as early as 4:00 pm if you have party tickets.

This is 100% confirmed and well known to DISers. :goodvibes

It is absolutely worth it. We have gone the last few years & we love it. There are no crowds so you can see & do much more than if you spend all day on a regular schedule day. We didn't wait in line for more that 5-10 minutes for any of the rides & we rode every single ride. (we actually rode SM twice in a row because there was no line.)
Plus if you are into seeing the characters, they are ALL there for this special event. You can take pictures w/ them but they don't do autographs. But it's nice to see some that are very hard to find. We got a picture w/ snow white & the 7 dwarfs. We will be there on October 18th this year! :cheer2:

Yes the actual party starts at 7pm and anyone without wristbands is directed to the exits.

For some of the rare photo ops - like the Seven Dwarfs and Flynn - people line up well before 7. If those are on your to-do list you should take that in to consideration.

MNSSHP is definitely worth it imo, just for the Boo to You parade and Hallowishes!

We went for the first time last year..it was the highlight of our trip!! SO worth it! We are considering going twice this upcoming trip in September.
Just reading this thread is getting me SO excited! Have fun!!

We went twice last year and absolutely loved it! It is our favorite thing. Our kids are really into meeting the Villains and the other characters available.

As you can see from my ticker, this will be our first MNSSHP. Has anyone been without kids before? DH and I don't have kids (but are obviously kids at heart since WDW is our choice vacation spot) but still really want to do the party...do you think it will be worth it for us?

We did it last year on our honeymoon. We don't have kids and we had so much fun! DH was having a ball collecting candy and goofing around with the characters and CM's (Captain Jack sparrow was great). We went on a few rides but honestly, we spent most of the night meeting characters and people watching. The parade was fantastic as was Hallowishes.

We are going again this year but will wear costumes this time. We were amazed at how many people had dressed up.
