I noticed one poster above said that they sell souvenier Tshirts, what are they like?
if I recall correctly (which I might not

) , last year the adults were orange and the kids were green. The picture on the front was a shilloutte of Mickey and Doland walking in the toward a spooky mansion. Of course I could be wrong, perhaps that was what was on the trick or treat bag. If you are a pin collector then you'll be happy to know that they have a 1 of a kind pin for each night of MNSSHP that is available only on that night. (well or you can pay like 300 or 400) for an entire framed collection. I am not a pin collector myself, tho last trip down I did pick up a couple, but the night I went it was Stitch....and thus did not get it. I know tons of people on these boards love him, but I think he is way overused and overpushed by Disney.... *runs for cover*
Now for the event itself. My sister was down at the Contemporary for a nursing convention and thus I 'invited' myself to tag along. I never miss an opportunity to visit WDW. I checked the nights we we were to be down there and saw the last night had MNSSHP going on and ordered tickets...then informed her we'd be going and we'd be dressing up...I told she didnt have a choice

But she is not one to dress up and she was worried it would be too hot as well. So we set out for something that could be quick and cool. We decided on what countless others had and went with

We hit a local party store and spent about 15 bucks for constume supplies. 2 plastic swords, 2 skull and cross bone caps and treasure bag and coins. We dressed in black shorts and white shirts and I took a white pillowcase and ironed on a picture of a skull and cross bones and that said 'surrender the candy!' Yes indeed those were the most complex costumes by any means, but it helped feel like we were part of the even rather then just observing it. Man there were a lot of pirates tho and some of the costumes were incredible. I told my sister we were the scab pirates incase the real ones decided to go on strike

I thought it was great when we went trick or treating and CMs would drop a piece or two into my sister's bag and a handful or two into my bag
As for what there is to do as an adult. Yes many of the vents are geared towards the kids, but Disney has never forgotten about us adults (and not to mention I think once you pass through the gates of Disney (if you are lucky and havent totally abandoned that part of youself) you become part kid again. If you are a Disney fan (which obviously you are since you are spending your honeymoon there) you'll enjoy the evening. The decorations are great, seeing all the characters in their costumes is definitely something you dont see often. The variation of the fireworks and parade are very enjoyable and something that many people never get to see. (and you'll have boo to you stuck in your head for a day or two) And if you are a fan of the Villains of Disney then you'll love that you are actually able to see a large number of them for once. I love them as much, sometimes more, then the heroes. In my book half of what makes a great hero is overcoming an incredible villain.
okay I have rambled enough. I am hoping to go again this year and hoping to talk my other sister into letting me take my nephew (he'll be 4 by then) with me. He loves Halloween and Disney (just like me

)
