Not So Scarey Halloween party - ???

Never been in the fall before, so I am not sure how this works..
I see there is a admission fee for the party... do you have to pay that if you already have park hoppers for that day?
How does that work? any info would be great, I tried to search, but it wasn't working..

Its a separate ticketed event. You will need to purchase a ticket. They start to make those who don't have a ticket leave at 4PM those that do get a special wristband and can stay.

Now if you don't plan on going to the Magic Kingdom during the day, You don't need a parkhopper, just the party ticket..They start to let party ticket holders in at about 4PM and the party starts at 7PM.

just to let you know we went last september 14 and it downpoured and i mean downpoured and severe lightening and they don't offer refunds, there was no parade and we didn't enjoy ourselves as it was sooo crowded and the rain and lightening (very unsafe ) we left after 20 minutes (as the rain and thunder came back right after we arrived) not fun at all just keep that in mind if you go in sept that the rains and storms are highly possible and the tickets are sort of expensive like 45.00 each and again non refundable unfortunatly this year we will skip it as who knows if its going to rain IMO its just not worth the extra money and half the rides were closed good luck and pray no rain and storms if you go in sept

We were also at the party on the 14th and tried to make the best of it, although it was tough LOL The fireworks and parade did go on, they were running a bit behind though. And upon exiting they handed out vouchers for 1 day admission. We actually ended up with tickets to attend the party this coming Sept instead since the vouchers expired 1 year from the party. Guest services was extremely helpful in getting it taken care of for us.
