Hi everyone!! We have made it Minneapolis! We drove to Fargo, and most of the hotels were booked!! We found a Ramada that was super. Abby had us up at 5 am, so we headed to Minneapolis! We have spent the day at Mall of America. Abby had such a great time on the rides, we went to the aquarium, and she pet the sting rays and sharks. We are very tired, and have a 3:30 am wake up call!! We head out of the hotel at 5 am for our flight to Disney!!!! Sooooo thrilled this is here!!!!

I am sorry that the first installment is comming a bit late, we got really busy last night, and when I was uploading the pic to the laptop, there are about 1300!! LOL

So we left Winnipeg at about 1pm on Oct 20. We decided to stop in Fargo (about 4 hours), just to have a rest. The drive to Fargo was completely uneventful, and as some of you know, boring! We got through customs with no hassle at all. When we got to Fargo, we figured we would stay at the Holiday Inn, Abby loves their waterslides. They were full, as was almost every hotel in Fargo!! We finally found the Ramada, which was a really nice hotel, with a waterslide! I took absolutly no pics of all of this. LOL We went for supper, and had a quick swim, and went to bed!

Abby woke us up at 5 am, ready to go to Minneapolis. So we all got ready. I went to the resturant and got some breakfast for Kyle and Abby in the room. We were on the road by 7am on the 21st. There was not too much traffic, and the drive gets much more scenic now. We saw a whole lot of road kill, even saw a semi hit a cow! That was terrible! We found our hotel very easily and checked in just before lunch time. We decided to take the hotels shuttle to the Mall of America for the afternoon. We bought Abby a ride wristband, she could ride all the rides she could for 3 hours and it cost $10! She rode tons of rides! We had lunch at the Rainforest Cafe, and visited the Aquarium.

We headed back to the hotel at about 6 pm and it was off to bed for an early night! Our flight was departing at 6:40 am, and we would have to take the 4:40 shuttle!!

Hey PAD!!! Welcome home to you too!! Sorry we missed you too! We were walking in front of the castle, trying to scope out a spot for the parade, and Kyle says, 'Hey, isn't that your friends ?' Then I saw it, the coolest stroller!! It looked awesome! Those were sure a cool couple of nights??!! I hope you found some sweaters. Abby ended up taking mine to cover up with to watch the parade, so I was in capris and a tshirt....lol, at least I wasn't like Kyle in shorts and a tshirt..lol

We had a wake up call for 3:30am! We all got up easily, who couldn't, we were going to Disney!! We head down for the shuttle, which was full!! Lots of early morning travellers! We check in with no problems, grab some breakfast and head to our gate. While we were waiting at our gate, I noticed that there was a family sitting across from us, and the mom had a mickey tattoo on her ankle. We talked about our tattoos, and it turns out she is a DISer too!! It sure made waiting go quickly! Soon it was time to board, so we said our goodbyes, and well wishes.

After just over 3 hours we were touching down in MCO!! It was about 78 when we landed and partly cloudy, pure heaven. We make our way to the ME desk, which was soooooo busy! Luckily my new DISer friend got into line behind me! We talked and filled a Diseny newbie in with some tips. Soon it was my turn. I got goosebumps, I know silly, but it was my first time onsite, and it was just so much more magical that I could have imagined. Then the permasmile came, and I don't think left...lol We had just missed the bus that was going to the All Star Resorts, so we had some time to wait. Soon the bus was there and we were off!!

We were at the resort in about 30 minutes. Abby and I went to the TV while Kyle checked in.

We were in the Jazz section, so we make our way to our room, and we soon realize that we are not in an ajoining room. We requested on because Kyle's mom sometimes needs an extra hand (she was hit by a car about 7 years ago, and it shattered both her legs, and the get really sore sometimes). So we called the front desk, they said to come up to the lobby and they would see what they could do. We we gather up our stuff and head up there. They said that we were not even placed with the rest of our family, and not sure why we had been put their originally. So we got moved to the Broadway section. All of our rooms where in a row.

What greeted us in our room:

We couldn't hang around the resort for too long, becuase we had ressies at 1900 Park Fare for supper, and I wanted to take some pics at the GF. So we had a shower, got changed and headed over to the GF.

We still had some time left, so Kyle went and asked if they could take us early, and they could!! We had such a great time, and really enjoyed the food!

Prince Charming came first. He was very nice, Abby was a bit reserved with him!

Then came Cinderella:

Then came Lady Tremain, Kyle had fun bugging her, she told me to shut up..LOL

Then Anastasia came, Abby had made her a flower out of a napkin, and she was touched by it, she sat down next to Abby and stayed for at least 5 minutes!

Drizella came shortly after, and Abby offered to give her her hair bow, which she never took.

We headed back to the resort after dinner, and went for a swim. I had left an invitation from Cinderella at the resort for Abby inviting her to CRT the next morning. When she found it, she was thrilled!! We found the rest of our family, had a chat with them for a bit, and headed to bed.

Up next: CRT breakfast and a MK day!!
