Not seeing some restaurants on 2007 DDP?

I guess some privately run ones have bailed out on DDP? I guess they are still on for rest of 2006 but not 2007? Missing: Raglan Road, some of the EPCOT ones: No France/ Italy/ Mexico which were some of our favorites. Any other notables?

This has been a common question this week.

There has been no confirmation of any of those restaurants not returning for 2007 (though Raglan Road seems possible). We already know that France and Mexico will be participating. You're probably looking at a preliminary list of restaurants for 2007. The final list will be available before the end of the year.

I just printed off the selected restaurants from the Disney.Com site the day before and called and CSR said it can change anytime but as of now some of the Epcot privately run restaurants will not be on 2007 DDP.

There's really no way for the CM to know that yet, as the restaurants themselves haven't made their final decisions yet. The CMs can only provide the information that they have, and they won't have the final list until the end of the year. We'll just have to wait.

I spoke with a CM over on the TA side (I'm a TA) and was told that most are back- they just haven't updated the list yet.

That opens an interesting question. I made my reservations for Jan 8-13 based on the latest listing for 2007. What happens if one of the restaurants drops off the list. If I have to wait until January to find out, there isn't much room for rebooking.

However, if the worst-case happens, you will be able to rebook. While you may not have much choice in terms of place and time, there hasn't been a meal, yet, where there wasn't someplace with availability, a day or two ahead of time.

Thanks, that makes me a lot less nervous. When I booked last week, they made is seem like if I didn't book right away I wouldn't get the places we wanted. We are fairly flexible except there needs to be something vegetarian on the menu for my daughter.

You may not be able to get the specific places you want, but you will almost surely be able to get accommodated somewhere.

Also, there's always a vegetarian option available at TS restaurants, even if the chef has to make something special for you (which they'll gladly do).

I also called to make ADR's for Feb of 2007 I asked the CM if Wolfgang Puck would be back on in 2007 he checked his list and said yes it was on DDP I told him the current DDP on the Disney site didn't show it and he said they had gotten confirmation on some more being on it but the list just hadn't been updated but the CM said he had the most current list.

I would call and ask if what ever one you want to go to is on the list.

Personal opinion is that these are not cheap places to eat and I would think with DDP being a big hit that if they did not take DDP it could really hurt their business but what do I know. LOL :rotfl:

Where is the 2007 list? I haven't booked for February yet, but I downloaded the DDP listing from Disney's website. All I found was for 2006.

Any help is appreciated.

These places have all been back on the plan since late aug early sept. I called and asked and yes they were which is why I change a couple of reservations around.

I am so happy I found this topic!!! I downloaded the 2007 list when it first came out....I've been starting my itinerary planning including which ADR's I wanted....I had no idea that some places were put back on the list!!!!!!!!!

Thank you all of you!!! I'm so happy now!! woo hoo! :cheer2:
