Not Saying they are Not saying their not!!!

Speculation continues as to what other attractions will be added to Pixar Place to join Toy Story Mania! One possibility is an indoor coaster, which many thought would be a copy of Crush’s Coaster from Disney Studios Paris. More recent rumors indicate that the attraction will instead be a coaster themed to the “Door Hangar” sequence from Monsters, Inc. This addition would involve the complete re-theming of the former Soundstage One, which would be made to resemble the Monsters, Inc. building from the film. Guests would attend an opening house at the facility, where their screams and laughter would be captured in containers to help power Monstropolis. The E-ticket attraction would be the park’s centerpiece attraction for Walt Disney World’s 40th anniversary in 2011.
Pixar Place Upgrades – As part of the re-theming of the Mickey Avenue area to Pixar Place, various attractions are said to be slated for Pixar-related overlays. The former Honey, I Shrunk the Kids playground will eventually be re-themed to a bug’s life, and possible future rehabs involve converting Lights, Motors, Action to a Cars theme and, if it proves successful at California Adventure, the addition of “Carsland” to the current backlot area.

More interesting rumors, can it be? :confused3

Not saying it can't or won't happen, but unless they're secretly doing the work already 2011 seems pretty unlikely. If they start tonight, as I write this, what are the odds of them opening it at any point in 2011?

It also seems like the "centerpiece" of the 40th anniversary -- if there is such a thing -- should be at MK, not DHS, which isn't celebrating a 40th anything.

Since they haven't done it in 14 years....the whole "anniversary" thing at the parks seems like a dead theme to them. I don't see it ever happening again.

And my guess is...as always...merchandise. they won't center these "celebrations" in any one park ever again so they can spread the product over all giftshops...i mean units...and have no imbalance in the balance sheets.

that's just theory...but based on the last 10 years of non-veiled buccagiftshopateering...it isn't a stretch

I would loooove a Swedish chef resturant! He's in my top two Muppet characters. I love Beaker too.

So where the heck would Pizza Planet go? (if this were to be true, of course) There's never enough seating there around meal times in the first place, and I feel like Pixar Place isn't very big. The imagination behind these ideas are a little too big for the space.

if they make a monsters inc door ride, i think it would be pretty cool for it to be an inverted roller coaster like the batman at Six Flags.
