Not sad anymore!! Really happy!!!!!

because I will not go on my won trip to DLP tomorrow My friend just called and told me she was really not feeling good and her new job didn`t start well, she was really homesick, her colleagues are not interested in talking to her so she asked me if it was ok if we cancelled. Of course I said ok, I can totally understand her need to come home to talk about it all with her family, but I have to admit, I would have loved to go... going alone to DLP is no alternative for me, because a lot of the fun you have there is because of your friends or family you share the time with. My mom suggested I should ask another friend, but I don`t feel that would be right, besides the fact I don`t think participants can be changed like that and it`s a little late for someone not prepared to be going.

So, no Halloween trip...

Are you sure you couldn't ask another friend. You were told it was okay to drive so hopefully the company would understand the change of name

I would ask the radio station if you could take another friend. They can only say No.

I'll echo this, from experience companies that offer prizes are very accommodating compared to if you actually pay for something .

There is nothing that the company would be charged to change here, only when you get into flights etc then there are costs involved.

I would definatly ring the company! Its always worth checking your options and then you can decide from there. I don't know many people who would turn down a free holiday even at such short notice.

I would go even if you cant find someone to go with. I really like to go alone and see the things I want to see and mouch when I want too. The Halloween party is suposed to be really great. Even if you dont drive you could go on the coach.

Thanks everyone! Right now I am waiting for the radio station to call back, to tell me wether I can take someone else with me or not. I called another friend this morning and asked if she would go with me, but she didn`t sound too enthusiastic to be honest, she said she needed to ask her boyfriend first... how come I`m the only one who`s really excited about a free trip to Disney?

It's so sad, I hope you will find a solution (I think I would go alone: you can't waste a Disney won trip!)

The radio station just called and the woman was so nice, she said it`s an exception and we should not talk much about it when `re there but I can take my other friend with me who had called her boyfriend and told him how disappointed I was and that I was almost crying on the phone ( I really was!) and he was really understanding and doesn`t have anything against her to go!!

Thanks everyone for your encouriging (spell?) words, without you I don`t think I would have tried to call the radio station! And it`s my friends first trip to DLP!!! I will let you know about it all when we return! And I haven`t even packed yet!!

Thanks everyone! I just returned from the radio station building to pick up my tickets for the parks, it`s a key chain with a Halloween pumpkin face on it, so if you happen to be there tomorrow, people wearing this are german contest winners, and I was really astonished how big a crowd of 300 people is.
Oh, and we were told our schedule for tomorrow: we can visit the parks until we all meet at 8 in the evening in the studios where the RocknRoller coaster will only be opened for our group! Afterwards the Halloween party takes place at studio 1. Wow, I am so excited!
