We leave for our first trip to OKW on Sun 11/6!!!! I am soooo in need of a vacation!!!!! Friends of ours are supposed to be going at the same time, and her brother is dying of colon ca, so everything is awful and up in the air. Please keep my friend and her brother in your thoughts.

Oh wow! such a mix of emotions there huh? thrilled that you are ready to go to the world again. I like OKW but i haven't been blessed with good views there but alot are gorgeous though. will keep your friends brother in my prayers and thoughts. That is always difficult to deal with but i hope your friend gets to go. They will probably need this trip badly also to give them something else to focus on. Good luck with it all and hope it works out!

You are absolutely going to love OKW!! Such a laid back resort- it has become the resort of our choice now- unbelievable because my DH always wanted to stay at the Beach Club until they had no availability and had to stay at Old Key West...now he requests OKW as his first choice! The hot tub is HUGE and so relaxing after a long day of walking around! Enjoy your vacation~ Hugs to your friends brother
