Its amazing how smooth it all went!

My husband and I should be receiving our contract for 220 pts. at BCV. We were originally planning w/end trip in Sept. for my DH's
B-day and we thought we would sign the contract then but it just made more sense to buy it now so we could actually use it in Sept. I was just amazed that our guide Betty was able to reserve a studio for us at BCV so soon and without us being official members!

How long did it take for your contracts to be finalized? I'm hoping it will actually be official by the time we go.

We are very excited. We were just at the BWI in May and have been pondering it ever since. I am extremely grateful for this board even our guide was impressed with my knowledge, Thank you all!!!

Did you put down your deposit? You can make reservations as soon as DVC has your deposit (when buying direct). DVC considers you an "official member", you will get a temporary membership card with your papers and you can start using the benefits even before you close.

To answer your question I was quite suprised that at the time our guide had MS hold the room for us we hadn't put down our deposit. I called her that evening to give our credit card deposit and today I have to call MS to confirm our reservation because our number will be entered into the computer.
